  • Great venue great bands!

by Susieg on 8/17/24Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 5 out of 5

If you love 90s Rock this show is for you! Vertical horizon, gin blossoms and Toad had the place rocking on a Tuesday night. A good mix of their biggest hits and newer stuff. These guys are very talented musicians. Highly recommend!!!

  • I’m a toad fam

I came to see Glen phillips and Toad the wet Sprocket. I left after they played and never heard one note of the Gin blossoms.

  • Music was too loud to even hear

by PD on 8/15/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 1 out of 5

You know how if the music’s too loud, you’re too old? That may be us. Our party of nine people was very disappointed that the volume ( above 110 db) made it impossible to hear the music. The bass distorted everything. If I plugged my ears I heard better than without. We’d attended another concert at Artpark at which the volume was loud but not unreasonable. This was torture. The band sounded great once we packed up and got some distance between us. Very disappointing to leave early but a few of us actually felt ill from the noise. Not sure we’ll chance another concert at this venue. Sorry!

  • 3 Band Show

by Rick in Amherst on 8/14/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the 3 bands put on an awesome show. Vertical Horizon was the best. They got the crowd totally involved. Nailed it with “You’re a God” and of course “She’s everything”. But opener “We are” was great as well as “Love Song” cover. Toad the wet Sprocket was good but not great. Gin Blossons were heavily backended with hits. Love their hits but could have spread out better for a complete show.

  • Artpark

by Terrin Patricia on 8/14/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 4 out of 5

Venue was good and easy to get in and out of. Good sounds for all the bands, good food, and the hours made it easy to get home before it got really late

  • Epic 90s Night

by Jo on 8/14/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was beyond amazing!! Vertical Horizon and Toad the Wet Sprocket were both fabulous openers. I've loved Gin Blossoms since the 90s and they did not disappoint. They sounded every bit as good now as they did back in the day...30 years later! So glad I got to see this show, I loved every second of it.

  • Outstanding show!

The Gin Blossoms never disappoint. It’s obvious they love their fans and performing. They are such proficient performers and I love that it’s truly about the music. Can’t wait to see them again! :)

  • Amazing Concert

by Nunya Biznizz on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

I actually mainly went to see Toad the Wet Sprocket, and they were even better than I expected. The fact that they played Crazy Life blew my mind. I'm also a big fan of Vertical Horizon, though, and my mom (who I took to this concert for her birthday) loves Gin Blossoms. So the whole concert was awesome from start to finish, and I got to hear more songs that I enjoyed than any other concert I have ever attended. If you can catch these bands at a later stop on this tour, you definitely should.

  • Toad the Wet Sprocket should have headlined

by Used to be a big Fan on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 2 out of 5

They mailed this one in. Guitars sounded very bad and not audible. Partly due to mix and other times because they didn’t even play the parts. So many lead parts completely left out, important punches missed, it’s was so lazy. Robin sounds exactly like David Spade when he talks, which was annoying and super arrogant as well. He took an indirect shot at toad wet sprocket by pointing out they used to warm them up but only for a short four months until they became, the headline. Toad the Wet Sprocket absolutely kicked butt at this show. They were the far superior band.

  • More Toad

by Alwaysthecritic on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert for the price. In 13 songs The Gin Blossoms covered all bases. Toad played 14 or 15 songs and there was another 5-6 tunes of theirs I would have enjoyed hearing.

  • Great Concert for favorites of the 90's!

    by ebd135 on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Vertical Horizon, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and The Gin Blossoms in Mankato on 8/3/24. I was excited to see Toad and the Gin Blossoms together again since they were two of my favorite bands of the 1990’s. VH started the set and started the night off well and was followed by Toad. Both bands more than delivered. The GBs hit the stage with a lot of energy. Lead singer Robin Wilson’s vocals were dead on and the music was on point from the first song till the end of their set. The only disappointment of the night was that I was hoping to hear the song 29 (an age I thought was so old when the song came out) and Not Only Numb but alas, it wasn’t to be. The last five songs, My Hands are Tied, Allison Road, Found Out About You, Hey Jealousy, and Til I Hear it From You, had the crowd all standing and dancing to the music. The encore song was John Denver’s Leaving on the Jet Plane. Aside from the music, the one thing I most appreciated about the night was Wilson reminding the audience that most of the GB’s songs were about addiction and regret and then went on to thank the audience for allowing the band to continue to perform and make music. It hit home that we all were young once and that we survived our 20’s and now appreciate the music of our time even more than we could realize. I’ve seen a lot of concerts over the years from giant stadiums to small venues like First Ave. This one is in my top three.

  • Great Concert with a favorite band

by Brewing’ Brad on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

I love seeing artists do what they love and their passion really came through. Artfully crafted songs, some favorites and some newer. The sound was perfectly dialed in, especially the guitars. Bluegrass style arrangement on a couple songs was a fun twist. Overall a wonderful music experience on a warm summer night.

  • Next best thing to a DeLorean

by Duckman on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show with Toad the Wet Sprocket and the Gin Blossoms. Took me back to the 90s and my college days. Man, I miss those times.

  • Terrible.

by Ridiculous on 8/6/24Vetter Stone Amphitheater - MankatoRating: 1 out of 5

A concert that’s listed at 3 PM for a start time doesn’t get going till 4 PM, and the headliners don’t come out until 7:30 PM. This happened with no notification of back up bands at all. Ridiculous.
