Hit songs were a little slow. But good show all around
The Gin Blossoms sounded great. Just like they did when their songs first came out. "Found Out About You"has always been one of my favorites...and they didn't disappoint. Great concert, great venue!
I was at this performance to see Toad The Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms happened to be on the bill. I am not a Gin Blossoms fan. Toad The Wet Sprocket had a great performance. Glen Phillips was looking at me during a song break, so I said, Crazy Life. Glen said something to Todd Nichols and they played my request next song. Gin Blossoms followed Toad The Wet Sprocket, this was not a good position for Gin Blossoms as Toad The Wet Sprocket nailed it before. Tough to follow that. I listened to Gin Blossoms performance, at least I can say, I was there. Toad The Wet Sprocket was a grand performance. I have waited many decades to see Toad The Wet Sprocket, finally got my opportunity, Loved It. Got a photograph with Toad The Wet Sprocket and chatted with Glen Phillips, Todd Nichols and Dean Dinning. Purchased Toad The Wet Sprocket Tee Shirts and rare CD's. Thank you guys. Hope to see another performance soon. PartyOnPeople.
Band could care less that anyone was there for vip.
It was an incredible evening of music. Would highly recommend

The trio of Vertical Horizons, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Gin Blossoms performed for their fans, not for themselves. I've been to a few concerts lately where the artists seem to have forgotten the songs that made them famous. They played what they wanted, not the hits that made me a fan. Its selfish and disappointing. At this show, every song you hoped would be played got played. And the artists did it with enthusiasm and a sincere desire to entertain their audience. It was great.
Talented musicians engaged the audience. Played a long set of songs.
Saw Gin Blossoms, Toad The Wet Sprocket, and Vertical Horizon. Many bands have lost "it". Not these guys. Tremendous show. Loved it.
Excellent venue with reasonably priced parking garage nearby. Only "negative"is that the aisles are hard to see, otherwise the venue and staff are great.
The bands that performed were great. Never heard vertical horizon before and I became a quick fan. Always wanted to see Toad the Wet Sprocket live and I’m so glad I did. Dual drum “solo” was amazing. Highlight of the night.
Love, love, loved the show! All three bands were fantastic, had so much fun!
All three bands were wonderful! I could tell they were grateful to be playing in front of an exuberant crowd! The Rose was an awesome venue! What an exhilarating experience! Thank you to all three bands… and to the place I got to hear them play live for the first time! What an uplifting moment in time!!
So, it was great evening. Weather was ideal, great seats. Loved the first two acts. So maybe it was that, or maybe just a bit of an off night (hey, happens to everyone!). their energy just didn't seem great, and after the 1st couple of songs, the crowds energy went down too. Overall sounded fine, just wasn't anything special. (Second time I have seen them in the past few years, seem to recall enjoying the first show more.)
My friend and I attended concert at The Rose Music Center in Huber Heights 8/18/2924 and it was a fun night of nostalgia.
Robin and the boys still sound as good as ever. Highly recommend their show. Thanks guys for the songs and memories!
They need their own sound equipment and my friends and I would’ve enjoyed it more.
This was my first time seeing these 3 bands live. This was also my first time attending a concert at The Rose Music Center. Vertical Horizon played 30 minutes and performed very well, sounded great and looked great. Toad The Wet Sprocket was also great, sounded great and looked great. I was disappointed in Gin Blossoms. The setlist did not flow very well, the lead singer seemed disinterested and he didnt sound very good. I felt it was odd that the encore was basically two songs that most people didnt know. In fact about half the arena had left after "Hey Jealousy"and "Found Out About You".
These guys are a blast. Another great show by them and I look forward to another.
First time at the Rose. Parking was easy, prices were fair, selection was good and the music (Vertical Horizon, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Gin Blossoms) was amazing!
