Gimme Gimme Disco Tickets

I hope that the female DJ is reading this. You don't know anything about disco music. Disco music is NOT HOUSE music! You were awful! I wasted my money attending the dance at the Brooklyn Bowl on Nov. 14th in Las Vegas. She needs to be replaced! I've attended some lousy Gimme Gimme Disco shows, but this was the worst one ever! She is the reason why I will not return to Las Vegas unless she is replaced. I am really angry that Gimme Gimme Disco doesn't test these DJ's first before employing them. ABBA Disco Glitter Party is one your competitors and they are gaining up to you GGD! I am very upset I wasted my whole Friday night at this lousy event last Friday night in Vegas.

Used to love Phoenix GGD when they were at the Marquis or Crescent Ballroom -- excellent DJs, playing all the good stuff, and great crowds who really got into the theme. Now seems they're only at Rebel Lounge -- Filthy venue in a sketch neighborhood, drawing a really downscale crowd. No thanks.

It was not as it used to be, didn’t like it this year

So my best friend and I attended one of the first Gimme Gimme Discos at the same event space in downtown Fort Lauderdale in July 2023. It was packed, full of so much energy, great music and vibes. We didnt want to leave back then. We decided to attend this recent one, it wasn't horrible but was very different energy. The DJ had a lot of life but I would've appreciated him not chugging a bottle of vodka on stage. It seemed like he just played a disco playlist with no DJ touch. I feel like he could've remixed some songs or made them more lively. We danced for an hour then left. Not sure if I would go to another one.

I asks friends to joined me as the last gimme party was OVER THE TOP, well, the music was great? But the DJ definitely last time had BETTER energy and much entertaining than this last one.

I went with a bunch of friends to enjoy some disco and get down on the dance floor as we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was energetic and the crowd was there to have fun. My only critique was the mix of music. It was not creative or imaginative in the least. While it's hard to screw up disco, there was little to no thought in the mix played. I honestly felt like I was at a wedding reception. I suggest some deep cuts or mixing in some unexpected tracks to keep the crowd interested. Strictly playing just the hits all the time leaves little to the imagination.

Initially we thought it was going to be a disappointing night because only a few people were there, and they were playing Hall & Oats. Suddenly, a DJ showed up and the crowd came with him. Great music! Danced like the dickens that night. 10/10 would recommend!

Fun time but DJ was super awkward - fading songs together with no regard to BPM, key, etc. Just played songs from a laptop - never actually DJed. Might as well have been a Spotify playlist! For $30 i thought it would be better. 👎

I have been to so many Gimme Gimme Disco's and I always have a blast! This was no exception. The music was great, there was an unexpected mix of 80s pop but still fun. It was just missing a host/hype man. The DJ was doing his best but having a separate person to energize the crowd would have elevated the party to a whole new level. Mark Facet hosts the disco's in San Antonio and he does AMAZING! If he was here it would have been perfect
