GHOST is Broadway's new musical phenomenon! This exhilarating show fuses mind-bending illusions, a timeless story of everlasting love and a fresh pop/rock score by Grammy winners Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror," Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know") for a theatrical experience unlike any Broadway has seen. Adapted from the hit film by its Academy Award-winning screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin and directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests), this astounding spectacle is being called "EYE-POPPINGLY BRILLIANT" (AP) and "UNLIKE ANYTHING SEEN ONSTAGE BEFORE." Ghost the musical.

by tamrajn on 7/16/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

With all of the special effects in the movie Ghost, I was leery as to how they were going to make a musical from the movie. However, it proved to be a very enjoyable show. I would like to add that the music was extremely loud and to the point of overbearing.

    Ghost was exceptional!

by MaeveT on 7/16/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

Special effects were amazing. Transition from life to death gave me goosebumps. Not a memorable musical score, but totally enchanting. The psychic stole the show!

Great Production! I was amazed how they did the train scene, (my favorite scene). The ghosts lifting Sam at the end of the musical, was awesome! Carla Stewart who played Oda Mae, did a GREAT JOB!

Some great scenes- some fell flat

by Boditty on 7/16/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

Some incredible scenes. Two in particular were absolutely amazing. And Oda Mae was a sensation. The technical, special effects were very cool- but as a whole it fell flat. The leads were just OK and their voices not stellar. They relied on a lot of special effects and Oda Mae. She is worth seeing it for.

    Life is a precious gift

by BHX2 on 7/16/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

The special effects were incredible. Oda Mae Brown made the play! She was great! So many laughs. The lead female did not quite have the voice for her role. My husband thought she should have been cast as Brunette, but this did not bother me a bit. Overall it was definelty worth attending, and is a really fun play. I will tell you after going to this play I am holding my husbands hand a little tighter, and enjoying my time with him more than before. It makes you realize what a precious gift life is.

    Awful,

by Anonymous on 7/16/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

We left! Singers off key, so loud could not hear the words being "sung". Visual effects too bright. - headache! This is only the second time we have ever left a theater during a live performance. I loved the movie! I love "Unchained Melody"! Both of us agreed to leave with little hesitation. Other people were walking towards parking lots with playbill in hand. Guess we were not the only ones disappointed!!!!

Exceptional play. They "captured" the Ghost effect perfectly. Music great, actors great. A very believable play.

Good but not great. Story was cute, it followed the movie. Music was good. Dancing was odd.

    ghost was fantastic

by simihills on 7/15/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

I went with my wife and another couple to see this musical. The tickets were super cheap in the back orchestra section. I wasn't expecting much because of the cheap tickets, but was I wrong. This show was amazing. I could not believe the special effects that were created on stage right before my eyes. The way the digital special effects were integrated with the actors was fantastic and this was throughout the entire show. If you ever get the chance by all means don't miss this musical.

    Fabulous!

by Kittykat50 on 7/15/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

I went to the show for my 22nd anniversary and wanted to do something fun since we both love musical theatre. This was so worth the price of admission! We have never seen special effects like this in a stage play! OMG! the subway scene was out of this world! Ode Mae was hilarious and had a wonderful voice. The connection between Sam and Molly was so sweet and the original songs were perfect!

    Ghost the musical was AMAZING

by Baystreet73 on 7/15/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

Amazing show. Was not sure how a musical adaptation of Ghost would be but I was so glad I had the opportunity to see it. Great acting, visual effects, & music! My only suggestion was that the flashing lights & music could be toned down for a small venue like The Pantages.

    Ghost was memorable!

by shersal on 7/15/14Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

The special effects were amazing! ! I liked the songs, but I didn't love them. The main characters have wonderful voices, but the songs just all sounded the same. The actress who played Ode May (sp.) was very funny! Great chemistry between Sam and Molly.

an absolutely fantastic performance. Some of the best special effects I've seen in a theater. A truly unforgettable experience. It did the movie justice.
