With four No. 1 albums in just a few short years, Regional Mexico singer Gerardo Ortiz has ridden a tremendous wave of success to become the contemporary “king of corrido,” the style of narrative ballad popular in Norteño music. Ortiz’s blend of traditional and modern elements and his popularity among young Norteño fans led to a virtual sweep of the 2011 Billboard Mexican Music Awards, earning him six honors including New Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. With the 2012 release of El Primer Ministro, Ortiz once again topped the Latin Albums chart, adding to his collection of hits with accordion-laced ballads about love and loss like “Mañana Voy a Conquistarla” and “Solo Vine a Despedirme.” Ortiz rose to overnight success in 2010 with the release of his major label debut Ni Hoy Ni Mañana, which landed in the Top 5 of the Latin Albums chart and received a Grammy nomination for Best Norteño Album. Ortiz followed up with several chart-topping live albums and his second studio album Entre Dios y el Diablo, which peaked at No. 1 on the Latin Albums chart and included the hit single “Cara A La Muerte.” On tour in 2013, Ortiz has received rave review from ticket buyers for his rousing live concerts, leaving little doubt that a bright future awaits the young singer.

ALL THREE ARTIST MADE A GREAT ENTRANCE AND GOT THE WHOLE CONVENTION CENTER FULL!! I GOT TO SIT ANYWHERE I'D LIKE AND IT WAS A PERFECT VIEW FROM WHERE I WAS!! THEY ALL MADE GREAT PERFORMANCES AND SANG THERE GREATEST HITS TOO!! LOVED THEM<3
THE ENTIRE SHOW WAS AWESOME... BUT WHAT WAS EVEN BETTER WAS WHEN GERARDO'S BROTHER SANG ALONG TO THE SONG "TAL COMO ERES"!!
It was so much FUN. Gerardo is an amazing performer.!
it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! i was in the first row. everybody did good. but gerardo ortiz did amazing! i love him. this is my second time going to see him and i will definately see him again!!!
3Ball MTY was okay but got boring after a while, because it was an ongoing repetition of the same exact beat. But Los Buitres were amazing. The Accordionist was exciting to watch and always had the crowd roaring. Gerardo Ortiz performed magnificently like expected.
It was the best time me and friends had in a while. While Go To there next one When ever he is back in Cali. as for Buitres 3Ball MTY.. Amazing Great environment.
loved the concert! loved Buitres and Gerardo! didn't like 3 Ball MTY! I felt like Pauly D was there! didn't feel them at all! they only have one song that everyone knows! didn't feel like fist pumping!
Amazing show 3 amazing performers gerardo ortiz is soo sexy but I just regret not buying the VIP tickets to watch the show more comfortably then just standing for more than 5 hours but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SHOW!!!!! I would differently go back again
I loved the concert!!!! I wasnt a fan of Gerardo Ortiz but after hearing him sing live I turned into one. He has a great voice, amazing songs, fantastic presence and a lot of energy!!!

The audio was horrible, i was able to know what Gerardo was signing cause I know the song but the other signers i had no idea what they were signing. They needed to refine the voice and lower the music to be able to hear his voice. Gerardo Ortiz was awesome, he put out a good show. He had a banda with him which was nice and he sang with several people. The only bad thing was the horrible audio the radio station provided.
The concert was amazing did not expect such a great performance, all the singers were awesome, I would most defenitly would go back for another event!!
the concert was amazing the only thing i didnt enjoy was the all the people smoking it was very uncomftrable
The show started at around 8:30pm so not too bad on time and it started off with a boom, literally. It was a great opening as fire lit the middle of the stage and Gerardo popped up in a throne like chair from under the stage. The first intermission was after like 4 songs and everyone ran to the beer line where we waited over 30 minutes to buy a beer therefore missing the 1st part (around 2 songs) of the 2nd half of the concert. Overall it was a fun night with a pretty good performace from Mr. Ortiz but it was too short as it ended around 10:45pm. The price was great, paid $35 for Orchestra seats.
Gerardo Ortiz Rocked the crowed. He had every one dancing in their seat.
Everything turned out great i will go again if he has another concert.
It was great! I went with my husband for my 21st birthday and I would have to admit it was the best birthday ever. His corridos are great to dance to and his romantic songs even made me cry. As GO sang and my husband was holding me tight I felt as if GO was only singing to us! It was the best night of my life!

The concert was alright but too short and took to many brakes in between..
