I went, I liked, it was great. I'd go again in a heart-beat. Nothing is sexier than the sax

  • what a show!

I traveled from Houston to Seattle to see this show, & I don't regret it! This show was AWESOME! Lalah is my husband's favorite female vocalist, & he was like a kid in the candy store. I believe Kirk, might have missed his other calling, because is a comedian. He entertained us musically & kept us laughing. What can you say about Gerald? A true beast! Man he made that sax sing. If the show is in your area,do yourself a favor & go see it.

This was the third time we've seen G.A. and he has never disappointed. We had great seats, the service was good and as usual the acoustics were great.

  • Gerald Albright..Wow..What a Show

by NATVNYR on 10/25/10Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Gerald Albright did not hold anything back for this show. His performance was a example of a jazzman at the top of his game. He played with ease any genre he wanted to with technical perfection. He sailed through rifts in a hard driving straight ahead manner but could also bring the funk. He was complemented by very talented musicians. I will defintely catch his act again.

Gerald was awesome. He didn't do much talking; he just played all of his hits. Highly recommend.. He was very gracious after the show as he stayed to take pics and sign autographs for everyone.

I saw Gerald Albright when he played with Kirk Whalum at the Birchmere, He was good then, but it was great to see him solo. My wife and I really enjoyed the show. Not only would we recommend him to a friend, but we would probably go to see the show with them.

  • The whole show was awesome!!!

This was my husband & I first time at the Birchmire, and it was awesome. The opening act was great, & Gerald Albright was out standing..Looking forward to the next show. Also the Salmon w/mango sauce was delicious.

Gerald Albright's show @ the Birchmere was fantastic. Not only is he a talented saxophonist, but a delightful entertainer too. As with all exceptional performances, the set was not long enough, but worth the attendance!

Outstanding lineup of artist... and the atmosphere made it one of the most pleasurable concerts I've attended in quite some time! KUDOS!

by DeeJay2 on 6/22/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 5 out of 5

Great song choices! Up beat. Really enjoyed the show. He gave us an entire hour. The guy next to me was hoping they didn't cut it short since we got so much before Albright hit the stage.

  • Joey Sommerville & Peter White ROCKED!!

by ReddFoxx1 on 6/22/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 4 out of 5

Peter WhIte is AWESOME!! He really ROCKS!! Joey Sommerville is full of FIRE...... I luv them both..... Gerald Albright seemed tired, or maybe under the weather?? His performance was slow!!! And Daniel Moore literally put me to sleep!!

The concert was incredible. all of the artists were fantastic. Daniel Moore is an extremely talented man and I would definitely see him again. I had never seen Joey Sommerville but he blew me away...literally. :-) The way he came out on stage was just wonderful. Peter White is an amazing performer even with his moves on stage. :-) then, of course, Gerald Albright brought it. He was just incredible.

by Harves on 6/21/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 5 out of 5

Simply amazing and fabulous. Each performer had it going on. Daniel Moore was great as he warmed the audience up with his great performances, we knew it was going to be a night to remember, Then came Joey Sommerville who had the audience right were he wanted them, following every note on the trumpet and enjoying it. My hats off to him. Peter White, smooth, cool and moving guitarist, had us swooning with every stroke. Great job. Then the tip of the iceberg and icing on the cake was Gerald Albright with that soothing sax. A cool Georgia breeze could be felt as he played old school tunes. My thanks to all those who arranged the program, it was a delightful, wonderful and an amazing evening for me and my friends. It was great, great. Look forward more events like this one.

  • An Amazing Show by Albright, Sommerville and PWHit

by Anonymous on 6/21/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first experience at the Mableton Amphitheater. . and it was beyond beyond AMAZING!!!! I absolutely had a wonderful time - - I have to say that was one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. . . It is truly an undiscovered treasure, as it is only 15 minutes from me, and much nearer than Chastain Park. . . Kudos to the headline artists, Sommerville, Albright, and Peter White. . I had never heard Albright in concert before, nor Peter White . . but all of them were truly fabuloso. . .
