Gerald Albright exceeded all of my expectations. His showmanship and musical mastery was absolutely phenomenal. I was also excited to learn this performaance was being recorded for satelite radio. Great show.

    Albright was shining

by DeeJay2 on 6/22/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

Great song choices! Up beat. Really enjoyed the show. He gave us an entire hour. The guy next to me was hoping they didn't cut it short since we got so much before Albright hit the stage.

The concert was incredible. all of the artists were fantastic. Daniel Moore is an extremely talented man and I would definitely see him again. I had never seen Joey Sommerville but he blew me away...literally. :-) The way he came out on stage was just wonderful. Peter White is an amazing performer even with his moves on stage. :-) then, of course, Gerald Albright brought it. He was just incredible.

    Summer Jazz

by Harves on 6/21/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

Simply amazing and fabulous. Each performer had it going on. Daniel Moore was great as he warmed the audience up with his great performances, we knew it was going to be a night to remember, Then came Joey Sommerville who had the audience right were he wanted them, following every note on the trumpet and enjoying it. My hats off to him. Peter White, smooth, cool and moving guitarist, had us swooning with every stroke. Great job. Then the tip of the iceberg and icing on the cake was Gerald Albright with that soothing sax. A cool Georgia breeze could be felt as he played old school tunes. My thanks to all those who arranged the program, it was a delightful, wonderful and an amazing evening for me and my friends. It was great, great. Look forward more events like this one.

An Amazing Show by Albright, Sommerville and PWHit

by Anonymous on 6/21/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

This was my first experience at the Mableton Amphitheater. . and it was beyond beyond AMAZING!!!! I absolutely had a wonderful time - - I have to say that was one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. . . It is truly an undiscovered treasure, as it is only 15 minutes from me, and much nearer than Chastain Park. . . Kudos to the headline artists, Sommerville, Albright, and Peter White. . I had never heard Albright in concert before, nor Peter White . . but all of them were truly fabuloso. . .

    Excellent Jazz Concert!

by Anonymous on 6/20/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

This was my first time going to a jazz conert, however it will not be my last. It was a very laid-back, nice and easy, mature concert. All the artists were talented and involved the crowd with their perfomance. Also the venue, Mable House Amphitheatre, is very nice and a hidden jewel. I will definetly consider buying tickets for the next concert on July 31, 2010.

Waited a long time and not disappointed

by BaldSalty on 6/20/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

I have been waiting for a long time to see Peter White in concert. His tour locations were never close or convenient. Finally, he was in Atlanta - about 200 miles away. We made the trip and were not disappointed. He is not the best dancer, but he is my favorite smooth jazz guitarist. Joey Sommerville and Gerald Albright were also outstanding. The combination of all performers with an excellent band made for an enjoyable and entertaining evening. This was our first time to the Mable House ampitheater in Atlanta. It was a nice setting and very well managed with an excellent staff.

    Joey Summerville is the man!

by Chaz63 on 6/20/10Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - Mableton

This was a great concert. The weather was great. Gerald Albright and Peter were very good. But Joey Summerville was the man. Exceptional horn play. And Daniel Moore was a nice surprise.

    Albright and Lee were dynamic!

by Libra48 on 3/30/10Renaissance Denver Hotel - Denver

The performers were outstanding. Mary Louise Lee was wonderful as always--covering favorites with a rich, gifted voice. Her band accompanied her superbly. Gerald Albright makes you happy he plays the sax from the moment he steps on stage--even with canned music. Exhausted from a plane from some part of Asia, he gave us his all and then some.

    Awsome Performance!

by EZEars on 11/7/09Birchmere - Alexandria

From the moment the show commenced, Gerald Albright captivated the crowd and kept our hands clapping and feet moving throughout the show. You normally hear people say the third time is the charm, but I can emphatically state that my first outing with Gerald in concert was all that, and some. His renditions of Bermuda Nights, My, My, My, and Anniversary, the classics that put him on the map, were the highlights of the night, and Walking Down Beale Street sealed the deal!

    Gerald Albright was awesome !

by Anonymous on 11/7/09Birchmere - Alexandria

This was my first time hearing Gerald Albright live. The concert took place at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Gerald is undoubtedly a brilliant musician. Listening to his soulful playing of the saxophone, kept me spell bound during the entire concert. He has mastered his intrument and has no problem using it the way it should be used. When he walked back on stage for the encore, he took the audience to a different level. To say the least, the concert was "off the chain!"
