    fun show

by lbwnj on 12/1/16B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

This was a great show, I went to see Geoff Tate but really enjoyed Ripper and Blaze as well. BUT, the sound mix was horrible, the vocals were way too muddy and not loud enough.

    NYC Trinity Tour Show

by Ladywarblack on 11/30/16B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

This show was phenomenal! My only complaints are that it started late and was too short IMO. I hope the Mastermind that is Tate will somehow pull the other two together and bring this show to many, many cities and states. I flew to NYC from Texas to see this show because Geoff Tate is my favorite vocalist, but the entire show ROCKED!!!

    Geoff Tate still has it!!

    by rychefan72 on 4/16/16Tralf - Buffalo

Disappointed that the original group is not still together, HOWEVER, Geoff Tate still has the best voice ever! His new band meshes well and play & sing like no others. I would definitely love to see them again!

    Operation Mindcrime blew me away!

by KariSchmitt on 4/10/16Tralf - Buffalo

The show was amazing. I'll have to admit I was nervous because I've been a Queensryche fan for 28 years and I didn't know what to expect. Geoff Tate and the boys brought it and then some. The new band is even BETTER than Queensryche. The musicianship is stellar. Geoff Tate's vocals were and continue to be strong and mesmerizing. Then we had the honor of meeting them. They were all cool guys and easy to talk to. Will definitely be waiting for them to come back to town. Check out their newest CD, The Key. You won't be sorry!

Geoff Tate has still got it.

by MikeEberle on 4/10/16Tralf - Buffalo

He played all the songs you wanted to hear and more. His voice is still amazing and his band is just as good as his former members of Queensryche. His new material is just as heavy and melodic as you would hope it to be, but not sounding like rehashed albums. Can't wait till the next time.

    Wonderful Show

by TateFan1 on 3/13/16House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

What a wonderful show. I was pleasantly surprised to see them perform so many Queensreich songs! I thought he was no longer allowed to perform Queensreich songs other than Operation Mind Crjme. I think many more people would have attended had they known that. So nice to see so many different versions of some songs too.

    not bad but not great

by MetalEd on 3/7/16The Paramount - Huntington

Geoff Tate and his band put on a good show, but it wasn't a great show. The band was tight and played well but Geoff is apparently either unwilling or unable to hit the long high notes anymore. They played a slower mellow version of 'Take Hold of the Flame', which was good, but not nearly as good as the wailing vocals of the original. I hadn't heard any of Geoff's material since leaving Queensryche so there were several songs in the setlist that I did not know. They weren't bad but they didn't stand out to me at all. I personally would have preferred more than 2 songs form the Mindcrime album, and with the band name they are using I would have expected a few more. The venue was excellent. I would recommend it any time.

    Class Act

    by Paulina759 on 3/7/16The Paramount - Huntington

Geoff Tate was a class act. He is very talented and engaged the audience extremely well. While I appreciated hearing his renditions of the classics, I honestly enjoyed the music from his latest album the best. It shows he still has what it takes to stay relevant. The band overall was very tight and had good chemistry. I was also pleased to see different age groups in the audience, who seemed to embrace every word and note that was played both new and old. Overall a great concert experience.

    TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME

    by devilschild700 on 3/6/16The Paramount - Huntington

Well the opening band wasn't bad but thrash metal opening for geoff tate is a bad mix. I have seen queensryche at least 20 times from the 80's till they fired Geoff. Geoff looks relaxed and like he's having fun and the songs like take hold of the flame and jet city woman being done acoustically was brilliant and he played so many good songs and his voice was sharp and probably the sharpest I have heard in years. I have read all the people ripping on his band saying nasty things about them but I thought they were GREAT and did the songs justice. I would see him as many times as he comes around because you can;t replace the voice and the persona.

Geoff Tate and Op. Mindcrime was outstanding.

    by Chiefie02 on 3/5/16The Paramount - Huntington

This show was top notch. I was initially concerned with what the setlist might be, since I am really not familiar with Geoff's new material but have been a huge Queensryche fane since their first EP release in 1983. This show was mostly the classic tracks, with some rearrangement and acoustic versions. Strange to hear a few of my favorites played acoustically, but I'm always open to new versions of solid standbys. The few songs he played from his new tracks were no disappointment either, but make no mistake, this was clearly a blast from the past type show. Being in the smaller venue also gave it an extra special feel which I liked. I would see this show again without question. I must also say, since I also saw Queensryche recently when they opened for the Scorpions, that Queensryche without Geoff was rather ho-hum, but Geoff without Queensryche was killer! I'm sure there's little chance of the two ever putting things back together again, but if you had to pick one over the other (Geoff vs new Queensryche) go with Geoff.

    BETTER THAN EVER!

    by MYCAPP69 on 3/5/16The Paramount - Huntington

I FIRST SAW GEOFF TATE PERFORM WITH QUEENSRYCHE ON THE WARNING TOUR OPENING FOR IRON MAIDEN IN 1985. HE HAS NOT LOST A STEP (PROBABLY GAINED A FEW) AND SOUNDS BETTER THAN EVER. A MUST SEE IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND A GREAT ROCK N ROLL SHOW. THE BAND WAS TIGHT, POLISHED AND WERE THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONALS. EVIDENT THAT THEY PRACTICED AND PREPARED FOR THIS SHOW AND PUT THE FANS FIRST. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT THEY SEE THE SHOW WHEN THEY GET BACK IN TOWN. CLASSIC PERFORMANCE. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, COVERED A LOT OF HIS CATALOG.

    Operation Mindcrime was Awesome

by AudraAnn on 3/5/16The Paramount - Huntington

First time at the Paramount. Reminded me of Nokia Theater. Huge Geoff Tate fan and lifetime loyal supporter. Geoff and the band performed well together. Geoff was absolutely amazing as usual...bass player was something special! Next time I hope to do the meet n greet. I wasn't aware that it was possible...Venue should have made that information more easily available. Thanks to the band for making it down to play for us and for doing it right. GREAT SHOW!

    Geoff Tate was awesome

    by Crcote3 on 3/5/16The Paramount - Huntington

So i brought my three young kids 10, 8, & 6 because i play Queensryche songs and they enjoy them. Everyone was nice enough to let them go right up to the gate. Geoff and Kelly saw my kids singing along and started waving to them. Kelly even had the security pass them guitar picks. After the show, John came down to say hello to them. It was the best first family concert experience i could ask for. Thanks to Geoff and crew for making it a special evening.

by GW09 on 3/4/16Gramercy Theatre - New York

I was hoping to hear more tunes from Mindcrime especially since that's the new name of the band! Regardless, it was a good show and this new lineup didn't miss a beat.

    Queensryche rocks South Bend

by MasterP353 on 6/20/13Club Fever - South Bend

Wow! What a show!! Small venue. Watch it from about 15 ft from the stage. Could have gotten closer if I wanted. Hope the band wasn't disappointed with the small turnout. They gave a great show never the less. Thought SUN was a great opening act. The guitarist with the kick drum and high hat definitely has some talent. It was great to see the female singer join Geoff for a duet during his set. The second group The Voodoos was also good. Thought they could have worked the fact that they were from Ireland and were playing near Notre Dame though.
