Geoff Tate does a great job every time I see him. A terrific entertainer.
Played all of Mindcrime and popular Empire tracks. Sounded great!
Fabulous show, extremely attentive waitperson, such a great venue.
His voice was strong and sounded like it did 30 years ago. Amazing to see Operation Mindcrime again in its entirety. Loved it!
Geoff Tate and his band gave us a show full of energy till the end, they even went the extra mile by playing 4 more songs...
Oh my God. This was Incredible. This dude can still hit those notes at 59? I was more than Impressed. It was more than I expected. You're the man Geoff. I'm going again next year. I told my Sister's In Cali that he's playing 3 or 4 shows coming up In the LA area. I was hoping to hear Queen of the Ryche or Another Rainy Day. Maybe he doesnt have the copyright for those songs? But I'm sure the crowd like me had goose bumps when we left. Way to go Geoff!
Great show Geoff Tate always brings it I’ve seen him several times never disappointed
A great show from Mr Tate. If you are any kind of fan of Mindcrime you need to see the show. My only quibble would be that the bass was turned up way too loud to the point of drowning out the guitars. Not sure if this was a venue issue or board issue or what. The show itself has lots of energy and lots of crowd participation. Does it match the 1991 tour? No but it does a dang good job in this day in age.
To put a fine point on it, from the mesmerizing opening set from Till Death Do Us Part, to the final note of Jet City Woman, this show was beyond amazing. It was perfect.
I was very impressed with the 30th OMC anniversary show. I saw the Operation Mind Crime show years ago and was not expecting this to be as good, but it was. Th entire album was played in order from beginning to end plus a few bonus songs after the album ended. My only challenge with the show was that Geoff's daughter came on at 9:15 PM (We all thought it was Geoff starting the show) and played some of her own songs for 30 minutes. She does a great job with Geoff singing a duet during his show, however I was not a fan of her music. Geoff did not come on until 10:18 PM and played for 90 minutes.
DID NOT MISS A BEAT!!!!!!! What a blast and his daughter was outstanding. I would definitely see him again.
Excellent acoustic renditions of 30 plus years of Queensryche hits
I skipped BOC and the chili peppers to see Geoff and still thank myself. Acoustic set of Operation Mincrime and Empire favorites, Geoff blew the roof off this little venue. I was lucky enough to sit 3 people away from him and took some memorable iPhone recordings without having to zoom. Encore of Eyes of a Stranger after much clapping. This man is one of The greatest rock singers of all time in my opinion, sang cleaner and higher notes than anyone. He avoided the E above high C in Take Hold of the Flame but hell who else would do it nowadays. Go check him out if you get a chance.
Amazing show!! Geoff Tate was flawless and he was incredible with the audience (which I wasn't expecting for some reason.)
Although I like queensryche I would say they are not in my top 10 bands. Now I have 100s of metal shows n I would have to say Tate acoustic was one of the best shows I have ever seen. His band is off the charts totally caught me by suprise so much that I paid the 50 bucks to do a meet n greet thing just to tell them how incredible they were
Was super disappointed. I was expecting Geoff Tate from Queensryche, but instead got a preppy man giving a variety show. Yes, when he did actually sing a song in between comedy bits, he sounded great, but there was just no heart in it. Felt very prepared. Made me feel super old....like when a great star does a hemorrhoid cream commercial on TV. Sigh...
Geoff never disappoints. City Winery show, small, intimate, great sound. Full show of old and new, all solid, clean as a whistle. New band rocks! Voices of Extreme opened, and they were great too.
Geoff NEVER disappoints! I loved both shows! Tremendous talent! I love you,Precioso!
What a good show, strong set list and just overall a great time. I have seen QR seven times live and Geoff twice solo. He has never disappointed.
