About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

The concert was awesome we were handed tickets by a United center employee to move from the third row balcony to section 102 across from the stage. That gesture made the concert a never forget moment. Phil and his members were fantastic. Nick his son on the drums were out of this world. Great concert!!!

Great evening with Genest. Mike, Tony and Phil really performing great, with all time friend Daryl support on guitars, and Phil’s son Nicolas really shining in the drum kit. Like father like son. Truly amazing even with Phil Collins seating during all the show due to his back illness. We need to recognize the energy and high quality music these guys delivered on stage.

  • Outstanding way to go out!

Last time I saw Genesis before this night was 1986 There were a few noticiable differences, but nothing that couldn’t be explained with the age of the members… I was happy to take my kids to a band I saw while they were being conceived… Thank You Genesis and Ticketmaster for making this possible

  • Just right

    by Padre P on 11/18/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Getting the tickets through TicketMaster was easy and the maps were helpful in picking good seats. The concert started about 15 minutes late, but Genesis gave a 2+ hour treat filled with a nice variety of the past music of theirs. It was nice to hear some original instrumental to old tunes as well. They still got it. and they know how to give to the crowd top quality stuff. The merch was a bit high priced, being that I can order things online from the Last Domino tour for 40 - 50% less than at the event. I had a great time.

I was glad to be able to see this classic band live. They put on a great show. The music was inspiring. Highly recommend.

  • Excellent experience

by Ramon on 11/18/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Well, Genesis, my favorite band, met all my expectations. The main three, Phil, Mike, and Tony, still have it all. The old side kick, Daryl, still plays as good as always. The new side kicks, Nic, Daniel, and Patrick, fitted well with the band. Bravo, excellent performance! Worth the experience. Plus, it was my oldest girl first rock concert. I had a blast spending time with her.

  • I have seen them 5 times and they are still one of the best

  • Magical

    by Jackie W on 11/18/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We flew from CA to see Genesis in Chicago. It had been decades that we have been able to see Genesis live and although Phil Collins is not in the best of health, it was such a great show!! We are so happy that we were able to do this and if we never see them again, it was a great last show! We love this band and with all their hits, has made listening to music for the past 30 years so memorable.

  • Genesis was A++. Chicago not so much

    by Green_Leader on 11/18/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was great! I couldn’t ask for more. But the mask mandates, and requiring a negative COVID test or vaccine is absolutely moronic. Chicago can take all that and shove it. But despite the governments best efforts of ruining the evening. They did not. Genesis was amazing! A once in a life time experience.

  • Loved the concert

    by Jeff K on 11/18/21United Center - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

We absolutely loved the concert, we're die hard Genesis fans from way back. We were more than excited to have scored front row seats, even if to one side, but once we were there were kind of disappointed that by being at the far right we had speakers blocking part of the view, couldn't see Nic playing drums at all. $6k for two seats, we were hoping to see everything, we had gone all out for this show, as it's probably the last tour. Also was disappointed nothing came with front row "big money" seat purchases, no VIP, swag, etc.... Any other concerts we've ponied up for prime seating have all come with things like swag, cocktails, etc....
