Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.
The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.
'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.
Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.
2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

A truly magical night with my favorite band of all time - Genesis performing for the first time since 2007 showed that the band's love of the music is still there and their following from the fans is just as strong as ever. I first saw Genesis in 1982 and then again in 1984, so it's been quite awhile in between live shows for me, but this 2021 experience was just as wonderful as the first time I saw them. Phil Collins may be in a chair, his son may be behind the drums, but he's still the perfect front-man for this group. Mike Rutherford is just as excellent on guitar and bass, supported by long-time stalwart, Daryl Sturmer. And, as always, Tony Banks was superlative and untouched by the sands of time. Yes, we may all be on the "river of constant change," but the Genesis magic is alive and well.
Attended the VIP Cocktail party & it was awesome!! Great drinks, food & atmosphere! Staff was very welcoming, helpful & friendly! Can you help get our group picture that we took at the selfie station? It was a great picture, but I am extremely disappointed that I NEVER received the e-mail with the picture. Please help me get this picture..... Thank you!
Genesis played for 2.5 hours and the set included songs from early albums. Had not seen them since the Abacab tour and they did not disappoint. The technical production was awesome… hats off to the sound and visual crews. It was my first time to the United Center. Friendly staff throughout. Concessions and concourse nice. However, the seats were small and no legroom… just like flying economy class in an aircraft. They did not enforce their mask policy at all.
Brought back a lot of memories from a fantastic youth loving Genesis. Really appreciated the old school Genesis. Not so much the newer poppy music. Hope Phil can regain his health. Thanks for the memories.
Genesis is amazing! The songs, the lighting, the video. They’ve still got it. Someone messed up on the floor seating (Ticketmaster or United Center). When we picked tickets we were more center, we ended up being on the side instead. Like they had flipped the numbering. That was truly disappointing given when I bought tickets and how much I paid.
It was awesome from beginning to end. I felt like a true VIPfrom the moment we parked the card.
Felt sorry for Phil but still excellent concert. The whole band was great. Worth being tired not next day. Have seen them 3times before and still a awesome band.
Same setlist as night 1, I knew what to expect so I wasn’t taken aback about anything It was greater than the 1st show, although I’d have been very pleased to hear duchess that I’m reading they performed on night 3 in DC…. Still, great send off if this was the last domino.
Venue was excellent, audio was fanamonal!!!!! Lights and screens behind the group were wonderful.... Drinks were expensive.. 🙄
Decent show. Somewhat baffling song selection. Tepid crowd. Ridiculous ticket prices.
These guys are getting old (like me), I have followed them since the 70’s and nice to hear all the songs for over the years. Good thing Nicholas and back up singers were present to keep the high energy band alive. VIP tickets are not worth it.
I loved every moment of this show. Great songs and great light show. The fact that Phil Collins sat the whole time didn't even matter. The whole show was amazing!!
Loved Genesis since I was a kid but never got to see them in concert. They are one of my favorite groups as I love power rock. Well, the band still rocks and sounds the same. Nicholas Collins is already an amazing drummer!!! He breathes the life into the band and clearly has learned from his Pops. Just seeing him shred the drums was worth the ticket! Phil was clearly struggling during the show. He had to sit and never stood except for taking and leaving the stage. It was hard to see him in the wheelchair and I had a hard time understanding what he was singing and saying most of the night. United Center acoustics did not help. It appeared he could not push the words out when singing. But because I knew the words it was all good. Phil, Genesis and their songs have given me so many great memories. I wish I could have seem him and the band in the 80s when he was all over the stage. That would have been something:)
The band sounded amazing and were as tight as ever. Love the whole production showing pictures of the band throughout the years. Did not like that purses were not allowed, kind of ridiculous.
As we all are getting a little older and our last domino will fall someday. Genesis still rocks. We had a great time, sound was awesome! Well with the money. As a guy with 2 son I know Phil has to be proud of his. Thanks gentleman for a great concert!
Seating for Monday night was perfect. Tuesday the seats were just as good even though we were not on main floor. Only complaint was i paid for VIP cocktail party & expected to meet the members of Genesis. I paid $800 per ticket & was upset that i only got some free drinks, hors d'oeuvre, & swag. One would expect at that price for a meet & greet.
Never thought I'd get to see Genesis live again after so many years. It was everything we hoped for..albeit Chester. The video screen were excellent and the lighting was amazing. So happy to see my fav crew of three...and loved Phil pickimg up the tambourine. Daryl's riffs during Firth of Fifth was to die for, and we just loved Nic on the drums. I went to the first two shows in Chicago.....and trying to see if I can make one more before they finish out their NA tour. If you are a Genesis fan, run to get tickets NOW.
Show was great! They played over two hours of mostly the big hits. Loved the big screen behind the stage. We had good seats but it was still nice to see the larger than life of the group details you would miss from far away. Phil Collins really stepped up give him credit for putting it all out there accepting limitations yet conquering them at the same time. Nicholas his son did not miss a beat definitely not weakness there. Felt ticket price was high. Won’t be going to to many larger scale shows anymore not only cuz of the $ but the bands I want to see are aging out. Can also see many acts in smaller venues for much less.
Saw both Phil and phil with Genesis the last 3 years..i dont like the new songs from Genesis at all.. loved going to just Phil the venue was ok
