Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.
The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.
'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.
Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.
2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

The concert was everything I had hoped it would be. Covered all the songs I had hoped to hear and the light show and movies presented on the screen added to the experience. I wish I had an opportunity to see them at one of the future concerts.
Great to see the band back together and enjoying what they do. Wonderful light and graphic show.
What else can I say???!!! Flying in from Seattle to see the ultimate live performance band one more time is a dream come true. Pure talent and aged to perfection..it's doesn't get any better than this! So amazing I bought a front row seat and am flying to NY to see them one more time!!! Thanks especially to the amazing Daryl S and Nic C for keeping those old dominoes standing!! Hehe

Genesis was a sight to see at The United Center Chicago.
So coming from another state, we found reserving/prepay parking thru Spot Hero a peace of mind! Facility very well maintained/clean and employees were all SO friendly/helpful! Genesis with Phil's son on drums was ELECTRIC!! COULD NOT BELIEVE THESE GUYS are in their 70's. Seen hundreds of concerts but this one will go in memory as one of the BEST SHOWS!!
It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had at the United Center. We were able to park close, it wasn't overly crowded. Security was quick. People for the most part wore their masks. It was good. T-shirts were outrageous. Other than that, it was a nice event.
Devotee since first attending a gathering of theirs at Rosemont in '86. They sounded great Tuesday night and I was particularly impressed that they hadn't loaded a ton of musicians on stage to "beef things up". Poor Phil Collins, however - he gave it his all but it was clear he was in a lot of pain, even just from the way he was sitting in the chair. Love the fact his son is now in the mix - we saw Phil solo at UC about 5 years ago, when Nic was first joining in. But overall a very enjoyable evening listening to one of my favorite bands of all time.
A must see show even for the casual fans. I have seen them every year they have toured and this will be one of the most memorable. I would love to go again!
Phil still can take those songs to you with gusto! Loved this experience
The concert was fabulous. I knew Phil was under the weather but the voice never changed. His voice was strong as ever. The downside, why didn't he sing his signature song "In the Air Tonight?" I waited and waited all evening and then the lights came on. I could have cried. But, IT WAS A FABULOUS CONCERT and I had fabulous seats.
Very emotional..!! I was a bit nervous after watching rehersal videos and reading how Phil was weakened by his physical problems.. but wahoo.... "Bravo" !! The band gave the fans a farewell (?) they were waiting for 14 years.. His son Nicholas was amazing on drums...Apples don't fall far away from the tree ;-) The staging was amazing as usual, with the entire lighting rig undulating at points during the evening. The show was warmly familiar to the fans. It felt more like a family reunion than a band one. The entire arena got on its feet and stays there during most of the show. If this is, as Phil has claimed, the last tour, this was a warm farewell for these titans. The end result was one of the most satisfying reunion concerts by any band in my memory..
Our seats were upper level, back of the stadium. The screens were great. We felt much closer than we were. Sound was fantastic!! It rocked. The one issue we had was getting to the handicapped parking lot. Not easy to find. Perhaps when purchasing tickets, that would be an option. Providing driving instrctions to that lot would have saved us 45 mins. We went around a couple of times. As instructed by the traffic personnel.
The concert was awesome...the seating not so much. I was in section 1 row 7. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable and we were packed in like sardines. Also, it was difficult to see since the rows in front kept standing up...therefore we would have to stand up.
I saw the Abacab tour some 40 yrs ago now and it was a top 5 show for me of maybe 300-500 shows I have seen total. To see them one more time was really fantastic. I took my son who I have decided to show him what my music was all about by selecting some of the best and we have seen some really great ones, but this one will be remembered for a long time. Let me start with Phil. He's still got most of his vocal chops, he did lag a couple times but mostly he was very entertaining and funny. His son on drums, he is a star! I could not stop watching him! Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford and Daryl Stuermer all still got it! Great never missed anything that I could tell. I was thrilled to see them all together again. *Now what a difference a few years and a few millions of dollars make in production value and show stopping effects. WOW!!!!! The stage set-up, the lighting rigs, the media presentation, and mostly the sound quality all top shelf and designed to perfection. Kudos to the guys responsible for this creative masterpiece! I have a sound man background and I have to say I am not normally excited about larger venues like the U.C. But, about a minute in I realized they overcame this obstacle and had some of the best sound I have heard! I do wish they would have had more photos from the past. The setlist was an impossible task to try and pick enough to make everyone happy but how you overcome that is by kicking butt on the songs you do pick. Which they did! I was surprised at zero songs from Abacab either night. 3-4 of these are real show stoppers and could have easily been chosen. Maybe in the future shows but I did miss them. People around me said: "what no Abacab?" Super happy I waited out the ticket brokers and got my tickets for less than half the original pricing. As a side note, what is happening with these people the greed is drowning out the true fans and diluting the concert going experience to the point where something probably needs to be done. Soaring pricing wrongly inflated by the sharks is going to hurt this industry just as the sport has gone. Loved this show and these guys still have it way to go!
Great to see them again. Shout out to Phil for going forward despite obstacles. It would've been nice to know that the seats we selected were partially obscured... not a big deal, but might've made a different choice had I known. Sad to think that this will be the last time we see them.
I enjoyed the concert venue and the concert itself - sounded good. Loved the ease of getting in and out. BUT had an issue with parking. I paid for parking in advance and when I arrived and tried to park and showed my mobile ticket there was no bar code for parking and I showed the attendant my receipt that I paid for parking but they did not honor that so I had to pay for parking AGAIN. They said to dispute with Ticketmaster. The next day I had to email Ticketmaster (since there is no phone number to call and talk with a live person). And it has been 2 days an have not heard from anyone.
Sound was amazing. They got better and better as the night went on.
Great show but far too expensive for what was included in the VIP package. The fees and taxes were excrutiatingly HIGH !!!
