About

Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.

The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.

'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.

Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.

2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

  • Last Domino?

Seats were at the highest point in the venue but didn't take away from the show. With all the visuals it was a good spot to be in. Enjoy the entire show with my son who came with me four years ago to see Phil Collins himself and now being able to get him to see Genesis possibly for the last time was fantastic

  • Glad to be part of it

Great show, such a wonderful send off. Phil and his son together was special.

  • OUT OF GAS

by Rocksolid on 12/19/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

Phil Collin's voice sounded old. Also because he didn't have the energy and mobility it took away that Genesis experience that you learn't to love over the years. I almost wished I hadn't gone so I could remember him like how he used to be.

  • Great Genesis show

The light show and performance were both great, especially the drummer!

  • Genesis wrapping up USA 2021

by RC on 12/19/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It sometimes feels a bit strange for a New York Yankee fan traveling up to our neighbor big city of Boston, home of the 'Sox', but not this time. I was looking forward to a high energy conclusion of GENESIS' Last Domino concert tour stop and they certainly didn't disappoint, and neither did Boston or the TD Garden Arena! As a long time Genesis fan, i didnt know that Genesis' first ever performance in the USA was in Boston. Phil shared that during the Thursday night show. I saw all three NY appearances and feel the Boston crowd may have actually had us 'New Yorkers' beat. I wonder what the band thought. Either way... Thank you Genesis, Boston, TD Garden and the Boston PD!

  • Mixed Feelings

by Babs on 12/19/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Knew Phil Collins was in poor health and performing from a chair but were shocked at just how much his health has declined. Voice was still pure Phil, but his stamina and mobility have been greatly diminished. Loved hearing our favorites but not all the conversational and instrumental "fillers", designed to give Phil a break, I guess. Loved seeing his son on the drums, but really had hoped to see Phil with the sticks again. Loved that Phil closed out his American tour in Boston but hated the venue. It was designed for hockey, not concerts, which was painfully obvious. The concert had no opening act and started late - bad form, considering what the tickets cost. Glad we got to see him but just expected more.

  • Great show. Not very good venue.

by AFK on 12/19/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Sir Phil Collins, as expected, commanded a very nice show, with visuals and repertoire of a great band. However, TD Garden is not evolving as a great venue to receive great events like this. I got floor seats, and those weren’t signalized properly, the space between the seats were almost none and dirty. I can only say good things about the people working that night. All of them that I had contacted, were very kind and professional.

  • KickAss Concert

We had a super time! The show was wonderful and traffic in and out was well managed.

  • Just great!

Genesis was amazing and Nic Collins was my favorite.

  • Definitely the Last Domino

    by Bob M on 12/18/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I have loved Genesis since the 1970’s. I have every album. I was hoping this concert would be great, as other older bands have done (Rolling Stones, The Who, U2). Unfortunately it was not. Phil’s voice was weak and he entered late constantly. I’m sorry about his physical troubles, but they definitely showed. Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford were better, but nothing special. Daryl Sturmer (guitar) and Nicholas Collins (drums) were great. So it’s time to stop, unfortunately

Phil Collins is one of the most talented musicians of our time. His incredible career both solo and with the outstanding Genesis group is unmatched by any other artist. Genesis was wonderfully fantastic in their Last Domino Show.

  • It was great to be at a large venue again!

by Maryann on 12/18/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Genesis was great! Phil Collins is still funny. He has a harder time getting around, but sounded great. His son is on drums now, handsome and plays very well. They seemed to just pick up where they left off. Mask was on the entire time and you showed proof of negative test or vaccination. Great night out.

  • Genesis——-TD GARDEN

    by Mo#3 on 12/18/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

FAR TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE CONCERT, I must have been having a stroke when I bought the tickets, I certainly had a stroke when the total came up. Very average show, Poor Phil has no mobility and has lost the ranges in his voice.

An AMAZING show and one HELL of a way to end a great career for Genesis!!! Even though Phil Collins couldn't hit the high notes he still gave it everything he had and pulled it off!!!! Never seen them before and was glad to be able to cross them off my concert bucket list!!!

  • Awesome!

by Lisab on 12/18/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the show! They played for 2 1/2 hours and every minute was amazing!

  • One of A Kind Band, Exceptional Music

    by Ann W on 12/18/21TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Genesis is a one-of-a-kind band, and their music sounded as amazing today as it did decades ago when I first saw them in concert. Nic Collins is fantastic on drums. Their music catalog is so deep it would take a week of shows to cover it all. They picked some excellent tunes for the show, so hard to narrow down all the possibilities but they did a great job. Loved it. Well done, Genesis!

Had early access that was a nightmare…took 3 tries to actually get in to buy tickets. Lost out on less expensive tickets. Once we had the tickets it was a breeze - easy to dispense tickets thru the app to my kids.
