Genesis is one of the world's biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades.
The evolution of Genesis is unique, their sound developed and progressed throughout their career and with multiple line-up alterations in the early years, the classic line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976.
'And Then There Were Three' (1978) was the first album the band released as a three-piece and spawned the single 'Follow You Follow Me' which was their first UK top ten and US top 30 single and proved to be the start of huge commercial global success. The albums 'Duke' (1980), 'Abacab' (1981), 'Genesis' (1983), 'Invisible Touch' (1986) and 'We Can't Dance' (1991) followed for the trio, alongside almost constant global stadium tours cementing the band as one of the most successful of all time.
Tony, Phil and Mike reunited again as a band in 2007 after almost 10 years for the Turn It On Again Tour which went on to be one of the biggest grossing tours on the year playing sold-out stadiums around the world.
2021 will see Genesis tour for the first time in 14 years, in North America, the UK, and Ireland.

Great show, loved Genesis for many years and was so excited to finally see them in concert
It was a dream come true to me to see Genesis perform in a concert. It I was and still is my favorite band since I was a teenager and I never had an opportunity to see them in person until now. It will be in my mind for the rest of my living days!
This concert was everything I hoped for. I kept hearing bad reviews, I considered reselling the tickets. I am so glad that we kept them! This show was just as good as when we last saw them in 2007. Even with Phil Collins’ health issues, he did great, a real trooper. Excellent show!😎
Couldn’t of asked for a better evening between the venue being easy and easy out and a great show
I felt like I did in the 80's when we saw them at the Centrum for the Momma tour. They were fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.
We are aware of his health issues, you could clearly see his decline....Yet, we all stood for the majority of the 2.5 hours of music. It looked to me that The Garden full of Genesis , Phil fans were happy. The show was full of energy and Phils voice was still good. His band musicians were all the key to the show being successful. They were better than good.
I am 52 and Genesis is my all time favorite band! It has been a long time coming for me to be able to see them. The night could have gone on forever and I wouldn’t have minded one bit! Seeing Phil Collins having to sit to perform made me sad at first, as I would have loved to see him behind the kit, but the man is incredible - his voice still SO powerful & his sense of humor as it always was. And his son did really well with following in his dads footsteps as the drummer. That got me - he must be so proud! I still have no voice, as I sang every song (I apologize to those around me). I am not typically an emotional person, but hearing them made me really teary (like sobbing, actually), as I was just so overwhelmed - it was truly a dream come true for me to see them. As a young girl I wanted my mother to meet and marry Phil Collins - she was a musician herself, so they had that connection, ya know!? LOL Anyway, the end of the concert was like a really good book that I wish I could read again from the start … to watch again and again and again. I think my voice is still gone because of the singing, but mostly because I was cheering so long & loud for another encore, then the lights went up. I saw a video that someone posted after the show of the band leaving the stage and seeing how difficult it was for PC to walk down the stairs, off stage, made me feel so guilty for wishing that - how selfish of me to want that! He has given so much to me in my life that I couldn’t possibly ask for more. I am honored to have been at the last concert in Boston (in America) and I hope to be able to see them again. Best concert of my life! Thank you so much!!
Genesis sounded great! Phil and Co. played for approx 2.5 hrs. The show opened with their hit "Turn it on again.." but then lapsed into many songs that I was unfamiliar with. Never having purchased a Genensis album, I didn't know if they were playing old old songs or perhaps they had a new album out. They did end the show with a lot of hits. (which is why I go to a concert..) The stage visuals were very nice.
Not great sound. Hard to hear vocals. We were 18 rows back. Volume was OK but acoustics were below standard.
The most likely last Genesis show in America went off beautifully. Phil was in command of the crowd as they played the hits as well as some deeper material from Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. The finale of Carpet Crawlers had the whole audience singing along.
Awesome show! Phil Collins was super!!!!! I only wished they played more 80s and 90s songs.
Genesis in combination visiting Boston is good idea
It was so much fun. I sung every song and enjoyed every single minute. Genesis did not disappoint me for one second. Phil’s voice was strong, the music was A+, the light shows were spectacular, and the interaction with the crowd was fun. I did have a few tears thinking I’d never see them again. I felt every song and loved this experience! What a magical experience for 2.5 hours.
Unparalleled sound and vision. Phil, God bless him, looked ready for hospice but his beautiful singing voice was strongly intact. His musings between songs got us all laughing and when he played with different sections of the audience, it created a wonderful unity among us. The only thing missing was more song hits...even 3 more wound have made the evening perfect.
Amazing show. Great drumming. Phil’s vocals were strong. Hoping for another tour!!!
We were fortunate to see Genesis for their last 2 shows in Boston. It was a fantastic concert. They played for over 2 1/2 hours. It was easy to get into the event even with checking vaccination cards.
Talented musicians. Great songs. Phil’s voice still strong. Excellent visuals
Great show, thought they would do more than 1 encore, since its the last time Genesis will play a tour
dissapointed, that phil collins only sang 2 of his original hits!
This is a band that I have wanted to see since the 80's and they didn't disappoint. The light show was amazing
