Just an average show. Harmony was good, but other than that it was just a so so performance. I would not go again.

  • Fantastic

They harmonize beautifully. My disappointment is with the venue, Rialto. Its a night of with the Gatlin Brothers country & Christmas. There were no Christmas decorations not even a Christmas tree on stage, no color lights, nothing. I wish it could have been more festive since it was publicized as a christmas show. Gatlin Brothers were excellent.

  • Fabulous concert in a fabulous venue!

I drove an hour from the Chicago suburbs to Joliet, Illinois to attend The Gatlin Brothers Christmas concert. They have not toured for years but seeing their concert used to be an annual occurrence for me. They did not disappoint. Singing a mixture of their greatest hits and newer songs for the first hour and a half, interspersed with lively patter among the brothers, they transported me back in time, and brought back so many memories. After a short intermission, they came back on stage in colorful holiday array and sang another hour of Christmas songs, both secular and sacred. A lovely, lovely concert, and I hope they repeat it again next year. The concert was greatly enhanced by the venue, the Rialto Square Theater. It is an historic monument of the days of the great movie theaters, with fabulous acoustics, and decor that is over the top. For an hour before the performance, we were treated to live organ music played on an authentic movie House, organ, which then descended below the stage, so as not to interfere with the performance. If you have a chance to see a concert there, GO!

  • They still sound good!

Thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Wish it had been just a little longer! Voices still strong and harmony is great.

  • Gatlin brothers concert. It was a great show.

We saw them do a show about 40 years ago in Michigan. It is amazing that at their age their voices still blend perfectly and the songs they sing sound exactly the same as they did back when they first started. I thought it was an excellent program.

  • Didn’t play the hits

by Jeff on 12/12/22Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 1 out of 5

I love The Gatlin Brothers, and was excited to see them in concert. I was so disappointed that they never sang their hit songs. Their greatest hits album has 16 songs, and they sang four of them. They mostly sang medleys of other artists, and songs Larry wrote that were recorded by others. Near the end of the concert, a woman walked up to the stage and begged Larry to sing a hit song. They sounded great, just disappointed in what they chose to perform.

by Viv on 12/12/22Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 5 out of 5

The Gatlin Brothers are still one of the best around. They sound the same as yesteryear. Best harmony and vocals. Wish they would have sung more of their hits.

  • Better than I ever could have imagined!

    by Heather B. on 12/9/22Rating: 5 out of 5

These guys… oh my dear. I couldn’t love them more. I was raised on their music and have raised my girls on it. Growing up, my Dad was in a band & they played all the greats from the Gatlins to the Statlers to the Oakridge Boys. I lost him unexpectedly two years ago right after his 69th birthday and I know, without a doubt, that he is up there singing with me and my girls tonight as we haven’t stopped singing since we got here. I’ve loved every second of this show & simply do not want it to end! P.S. I was raised Church of Christ & wish, more than anything, I had a pitch pipe with me tonight for that acapella verse of Broken Lady. Ha! ;)

3 guys with no props did an outstanding show. Lots of humor, tearful moments and always entertaining. We have seen them many times thru the years and we will continue to support them in the future!!!

  • Magical Night

by Gatlinfan on 12/6/22Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I had the pleasure of attending a terrific concert at the Brown County Music Theater in Nashville, Indiana December 3. Larry, Steve. and Rudy did most of their major hits, but also some "deep cuts". The Christmas songs they did were in perfect harmony, and done with creative lighting to put everyone in the mood. My cowgirl hat is tipped to the Gatlin Brothers - they never give a bad show!

  • Super fantastic!

    by M. G. on 12/6/22Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the show! It was billed as a Christmas concert but they started out playing their hits which we all loved!! Then they went into the Christmas music which was great, too. I saw them back in the 80's and they were still the best ever!

  • POOR VENUE!

by CARTENDER on 12/6/22Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

THE GATLIN BROS. WERE GREAT! LOVED THEIR HITS AND THE CHRISTMAS CAROLS. THE VENUE WAS A NEWER BUILDING. BUT I FELT THE NASHVILLE MUSIC CENTER WAS BEING RAN BY A GROUP OF CONTROL FREAKS. WE HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR PARKING IN A GRAVEL PARKING LOT.

It was ok. A little 😞 that it was not a whole band and all the Christmas songs were sung to a recording and not really sure if they were singing live or not. For the money we paid not worth it. They also did a lot of talking.
