The show was great! Wonderful way to start the Christmas season. Highly recommend it!

  • The Texas boys can come to Independence anytime!

I had a chance to drive to Branson this weekend from Independence and I'm so glad I did. The Gatlins Show was great. I wished I had time to stay for another show. I'm really glad I was able to see them after all this time. They were all really nice to come down after the show and sign whatever we had for them to put their signature on. The Gatlin Brothers are still one of our favorite groups after watching them perform during our Branson vacation. We had to buy a CD to update from the old 8 track that we had been listening to for years. It was a grat show and we would recommend it to all our friends.

only problem was favorite song "love is just a game" was not part of the show

  • Well Larry

The music and the show were good, however, I think Larry Gatlin needs to get over himself. Out of the four shows we saw and two were revisits to let our friends enjoy we all put this at four. Larry and his brothers and really nice but sometimes not sure if he really like the audience or not.

The Gatlins put on quite a show in Branson last Sat nite. Their music is still first class, they mix up the show with humor and personal experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the show especially the emphasis on the real meaning of Christmas. I think the above photo needs to be updated.

We attended the Gatlin Brothers/Debbie Boone performance and was very much entertained by the them all. They interacted well with the audience and provided a strong faith based message which we enjoyed.

This show was just amazing. It seems as if they all gave this performance their all. There were no shortcuts. There was new music along with old favorites and wonderful Christmas music. They all made themselves available to the audience for autographs and photos. This was truely one of the very best performances I have ever seen by any group.

  • As Always -- Great Show

by AggieCurt on 11/4/10The Mansion - BransonRating: 5 out of 5

The usual fantastic harmony was still there (just as the last time I saw them in person 30 yrs ago), and they put on a great show with just the right amount of comedy and commentary to keep it moving. The "old" and the new songs were great and a couple of the new ones had meaningful messages if one listens closely. Larry asked the sound man to "bring up" the instruments during the show, and after that, the instruments were a little too loud and made it difficult to hear the close harmony that is a trade mark of the Gatlin Brothers -- but since I knew all the words and music to most of the songs, my mind adequately brought the harmony through.

  • Terrific Show

by MOfoxtrotter on 9/9/10The Mansion - BransonRating: 5 out of 5

A friend came up from West Texas to Branson to see The Gatlin Brothers with me. We loved every minute of the show!! Our seats were great, third row from the front and right in the middle. For my personal taste I would have preferred they sing more of their own songs instead of a selection of other artists. Other than that everything was perfect. Larry Gatlin gave a great performance even though he was suffering from a sinus infection and had been having back problems. We were impressed with the showmanship they all displayed. The easy manner and personable attitude they all had made us feel like they were playing and singing directly to us. No stuffed shirts here!

The show was amazing. Their voices were as good as ever and loved hearing all the old songs. Larry's voice is still great, what an amazing range. The comedy and exchange with the audience was funny and very entertaining. They could sure use an update regarding wardrobe. The 1970's double knit slacks need to go. Come on guys, we are in our 70's but try to do better on wardrobe than that. The only thing that looked up to date were the white jackets. Keep on doing the music.

  • Great show

There were all ages in our group. 20's to those of us who knew the old songs. We all thought it was a great show!!

Larry Gatlin and his brothers once again gave an amazing performance. Don't miss this show if you're in the Branson area.

  • A good night of music

    by union6 on 10/14/09The Mansion - BransonRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed the show and the fantastic blend of the voices. Such harmony is rare, especially in places where there was no "rehersed" program. I think Larry's performance seemed very rehersed & his comments didn't seem to come naturally. I also wonder why Rudy kept so quiet.

  • The Gatlins continue to be WONDERFUL

by bardar on 10/9/09The Mansion - BransonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great even if Larry was suffering with a golf-related injury. The harmonies were wonderful and the boys were so patient with the fans that stayed around for autographs after the show.
