  • Gary Lewis and the Playboys

by cerms on 2/29/16Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - OnamiaRating: 4 out of 5

listening to gary lewis and the playboys was awesome, It brought back many memories from the 60's. I went and saw him back in 2013 at the Minnesota State fair, with the Happy Together Tour, With Gary being in his 70's he's still a legend in his time.

  • Totally Wonderful Concert!

by JaniceMora on 2/29/16Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - OnamiaRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Lewis and the Playboys played first - Gary smiled, told great jokes and sang all his hits! Couldn't have been better. Then, Gary Puckett came on and sang his hits in his fantastic voice! Finally, Peter Noone - still as cute as he was in the '60's. He sang all his hits and even did a wonderful impression of Mick Jagger!

  • A Fabulous Trip Back to the '60s!

by Horsegranny on 2/29/16Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - OnamiaRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Lewis started out the evening with his many hits plus a few covers. It was like being that teenager again singing along with the radio, except this time Gary Lewis & the Playboys were right in front of me!! Next came Gary Puckett, who didn't disappoint as he performed his hit songs. We had some great sing-a-longs with Gary & the Union Gap. Memories of innocence & better times were swimming in my head! Before I could land back in 2016, Peter Noone with Herman's Hermits took the stage! They put on quite the show proving that Rock & Roll or it's singers aren't dead! Peter started his set with his theme song " I'm into Something Good" then we met Johnny Cash & Peter's dad, Mick Jagger. Peter never stopped moving on the stage! He & the Hermits danced and leaped throughout the show. What a great time. All to soon the show was over. I could have listened to these bands all night. Gary Puckett & Peter Noone signed autographs & had pictures taken after their shows.

  • Different stars for different performers

by Anonymous on 2/29/16Grand Casino Mille Lacs Event Center - OnamiaRating: 4 out of 5

This show overall was amazing. Brought back so many memories. I loved when Gary Puckett honored the Vets, but his voice hasn't held up as well as the others. Peter Noone of course stole the show. His voice is as great as ever and he was SO funny! My husband doesn't usually enjoy concerts as much as I do, but he had a great time too and was even singing some of the Hermit's songs. Peter Noone was definitely 5+ stars. He is still HOT as ever too.

Transported back to 50s and 60s. Show was very entertaining. I enjoyed the song selection and the banter between numbers.

  • Gary Lewis and the Playboys BRING IT

by DRChach on 9/28/15Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Lewis and the Playboys performed flawlessly, all of the greatest and best loved hits. He is a very humble and audience friendly performer. The band was full of energy and put out the hits flawlessly, one right after another. Gary meets every fan for an autograph and selfie. Never saying no, not once to anyone who asks. He is blessed as we were to meet him. Don't miss it!

  • Good Concert but have seen better

by vinniegia on 10/23/13Wildwood Convention Center - WildwoodRating: 3 out of 5

A little disappointed with some of the acts. Have seen them all before and were really good but a little off at this venue.

  • Great show!

by Nieecy on 10/22/13Wildwood Convention Center - WildwoodRating: 4 out of 5

The Drifter's were the best! So talented. The other groups were good. The stylistics orchestra was wonderful but way too loud. You couldn't understand what the guys were singing and the lead singer never smiled once. We had a great time except for the fact that we were all squished together and couldn't get in or out of the aisle without stepping on people's toes and touching them by accident. The set up was not the best on the floor.

  • Gary Lewis is DONE!

by JerseyJimmie on 10/22/13Wildwood Convention Center - WildwoodRating: 4 out of 5

Lew Cristy was FABULOUS !!! His voice was just like 50 years ago, and he still looks only about 40 yrs old. Gary Lewis voice is not there anymore, I think he should retire, Hi performance was very disappointing.

  • FAR FROM THE BEST

    by 5NYC on 10/22/13Wildwood Convention Center - WildwoodRating: 2 out of 5

Having enjoyed many, many "oldies" concerts throughout the years, this one was disappointing. First of all the acoustics were terrible - the sound was very "tinny". Also, some acts need to "hang it up" - they can no longer sing. Then, why are these groups singing songs that are not theirs? All in all, we traveled 3 1/2 hours and stayed overnight for this concert and will NOT do it again! Sorry, hope to see you at the Beacon theater in NYC!!

  • by Anonymous on 10/22/13Wildwood Convention Center - WildwoodRating: 3 out of 5

The acoustics in the convention center are not good. It makes an otherwise good show just average or worse.
