  • Awesome show and theater!

by NY Neal on 10/29/19F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

I drove from upstate NY to NJ and picked up my brother. We then drove two hours to the Kirby Center to see this show. It was fabulous!!!!! I love that beautiful old theater and the groups that performed, all of which I have seen many times over the years, and all of them are still fabulous! Vito Picone and the Elegants, The Vogues, Jay Siegel and the Tokens, The Classics, and Johnny Maestro's Brooklyn Bridge were all outstanding as always. Joe Esposito does a fantastic job of sounding like the late, great Johnny Maestro! My brother and I could not have been more happy that we traveled all that way to see this great show. I have been to the Kirby Center to see other shows and I will be there again!!! Thank you all for putting on this great show!!!

  • Great show

    by J.E.B. on 10/29/19F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best if not the best DooWop/R&R show yet. Great music, vocals, selection of music, comedy, performances and sound. 3 hours + and never a dull moment. Very professional and entertaining. Great crowd also.

  • Joe Nardone DooWop

by Ed Brooks on 10/29/19F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

To me this was the best oldies that we have been. All the groups were very good And it appears to me they give it all however repetitive it is for the acts. Capri's, Elegant's, Token's, Vogue's and Brooklyn Bridge. 3 1/2 hours and BB wanted to continue but the venue stopped them.

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!!

    by Loey on 10/29/19F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

The whole show was outstanding. Each group was "Top Notch and performed wonderfully. I could have stayed and listened yet for another hour BUT when Michael D'Amore of the Capris did his rendition of Eddie Holman's "Lonely Girl", he was amazing, totally awesome and he "knocked it out of the park!!!" What a voice!!!! Bring them back again. We're going in March for the Part 2 Doo Wop show. Next to the Johnny Mathis concert, I think this was one of the best concerts I've been to at the Kirby.

  • Love Joe Natone, Doo Wop show, I will go again

This show was great as usual the Doo Wop bands are all great and lots of fun.. All the seats were taken and the audience was just as fun. I plan to go again in March.

  • Outstanding!

Brooklyn Bridge were everything we expected and tons MORE. Fantastic concert event, with tribute to the great Johnny Maestro. Venue was very good. A little pricey with $2.00 extra for ice, in my drink. Two wines, one vodka on the rocks and one Coke came to $40. Mandatory valet parking at $5.was not too bad

  • Would Cross This Bridge Again:

by BookingTroyNY on 2/10/16Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - VeronaRating: 5 out of 5

Having booked many retro bands in the past, I wasn't sure what I was going to see on my recent trip to Turning Stone Casino. These guys were just spot on perfect though. Amazing harmonies, and a very tight band was my initial thought. Watching the mixed age crowd, I noticed even the younger members of the audience were even groovin along with the many familiar tunes being performed. Turning Stone was an absolute perfect fit for the group. Great show!

  • The Brooklyn Bridge

by JimCon70 on 2/9/16Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - VeronaRating: 4 out of 5

Even without the late Johnny Maestro, this tight group took me back to my youth. They performed Maestro's songs from The Brooklyn Bridge as well as his time with the Crests. It was a great trip down memory lane for me.

  • Brooklyn Bridge was unforgettable!

My husband and I are fans of so called "oldies" music and I play the oldies station and sing along as I'm working around the house. Going to see Brooklyn Bridge was like becoming reacquainted with an old friend. My husband and I tapped toes and sang along with the music thru the entire show. It came to an end far too soon. A truly enjoyable evening!
