About

"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

  • Fantastic time

by GA Fan on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Loved Gary Allan from the start! It is so nice to witness his ups and downs and now UPS again in his music. It was like a private concert at the Excite Center in AC. Right up there with his fan club party in June 2025 in terms of venue intimacy. If you ever have a chance to see him DO IT, you won’t regret it! This was #14 for me and looking forward to #15 and beyond.

  • Great Concert! Gary still got it.

Went to see Gary in Altlantic City on Saturday nite. We live in Philly, but could not pass up the opportunity to see Gary when he so close. His set list had us singing and dancing, the whole show. We have been going to his live shows for 30 years. Gary may be older but he still got it! This show was my favorite. My husband bought me these tickets for my 68 birthday. Second row, center. To sing with him, to touch him, he gave me a pick, doesn't get any better than that. Memories for a lifetime. Gary, Thank you so so much. Can't wait till you come out East again."Your the best "- we ever had !!!!!

  • What a great show!

by Pug on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

We bagged 4th row center seating for this show. Gary and the fantastic band behind him gave a great performance. Gary sang all his hits and did a acoustic version of SEX. You could tell Gary enjoys playing live as many people came forward for selfies. He actually participated in several of the pics taking the shot and never miss a step. The Caesars Atlantic City venue was perfect, well maintained, clean and comfortable. I chose this venue over Gary's next show in Ocean City Maryland. Gary thanked the crowd for coming to the show upfront and a fan replied thanks for coming to New Jersey. I could tell he was taken back by the warm welcome. Thanks for being a class act all these years. Well done Sir!

  • a night of great music

by momadrive on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Allen's performance was fresh and brought back many memories for me. He was all about the songs and music, no long winded conversation: he was there to sing. And , that he did for 90 minutes he sang the best of his songs. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be in the audience with my daughters.

  • Gary was as good as ever.

by Dolly on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I knew every song. He moved around alot and interacted with the audience.

  • Bucket List show!

by Melissa on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Gary Allan for years and was so happy to finally see him! He put on a great show! The smaller more intimate venue was perfect!

  • Sound was terrible

by Mike on 10/7/25Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

Sound was absolutely horrible. For such a small venue they should have adjusted the sound. Left early.

  • Gary Allen Concert

by Paul on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 1 out of 5

This is the first time in 35 years I have walked out of a concert at the Saenger Pensacola Theater. The speakers were excessively loud to the point that it was painful to listen. The microphone was so bad you could barely make out the words that Gary was singing! A truly terrible experience!

  • Horrific

by Tess on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 1 out of 5

I was certainly not the first one to leave early. Somebody should’ve shortened their golf game to do an adequate sound check before the performance. Some will understand when I say it was so loud you couldn’t hear it. Total waste of hard earned money on one of the few acts I would be willing to pay to see.

  • Pensacola Fl

by Dan on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 3 out of 5

Check in process was great. Sound system was probably a little overpowering for a small theatre venue but it was rocking!

  • Outstanding Gary Allan

by GA Fan on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful venue and fantastic atmosphere where Gary Allan showcased his talents! Super cool crowd and a real party atmosphere!

  • Too loud for venue. Very distorted.

by Too loud for venue. Very distorted. on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 2 out of 5

The only good thing about the concert was the fact that it was Gary Allen. I was lucky I knew the words, because you could not understand them. Volume was way too loud for the venue. Many people got up and left. I am not some old prude complaining about things being too loud. Loud is great, but distorted is not. Even the few acoustic solo songs were distorted. Sounded pretty bad. This was Gary Allen's first time in Pensacola, but many people will not be back only because the sound was terrible. Beau Rivage in Biloxi has the sound figured out. Bad experience based on the venue.

  • Gary at Saenger Theatre

by Racechik on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 4 out of 5

Gary always puts on an awesome show. The Theater was beautiful! Great place to see a show. I was chosen to do a meet and Greet which was topping on the cake. The only downside was they had the music turned up louder then the vocals so it drowned out Garys voice a lot of the time.

  • Just wrong

by Unhappy on 9/21/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 2 out of 5

The audio sound was terrible. You couldn't hear the artist sing because the music was so loud. With the seating style that is at the theater, seating during performance should be mandatory unless in the Isle or up near stage. People in front of where I was sitting stood the whole time and I couldn't see Gary Alan. I have wanted to see him sing forever and it was blown.
