Gary was great, venue seating needs work
by Amanda on 6/9/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 5 out of 5Gary Allan put on a wonderfully energetic performance, although it was shorter than I would have liked. He still sounds just as good as the first time I saw him live back in 2001!
This was the inaugural show for the venue, The Pantheon at Danville’s Caesars Casino, which itself was lovely. The facilities were very nice, but the seating arrangement leaves you with a terrible view if anyone your height or taller is seated in front of you. There is no incline in the seating; rather, it seemed to be a slight decline which caused line of sight issues for us and many around us. They need to have stadium seating or something similar.
The gentleman in front of me was wearing a large cowboy hat that obstructed my view. When he took it off, however, just his height alone obstructed my view as well. My friend and I stood up for most of the concert so we could see. The people behind us complained and asked us to sit down, but as I told them, I couldn’t see because of the people in front of me so standing was the only solution for all of us.
Otherwise, this was a wonderful show. Hopefully they’ll get the seating figured out for future performances.
