"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

Gary Allan put on a great show! I was very happy we went to see him perform.
This was my 7th time seeing Gary Allan at Penn’s Peak and this was the best show yet. The lights, the set list, Gary and the band were fantastic. He is amazing in everything he does.
The Gary Allan concert was awesome. Gary did a great job and still has an amazing voice. He sang most of his hits and some some off his latest album. The concert venue is a beautiful place and is easy to get to and easy to navigate. Always enjoy the Ozarks Amphitheater.
Gary Allen is a true professional! It was obvious that he was fighting off a cold or throat condition of some kind, but he performed the entire show without a hitch. His band is excellent and there was lots of energy and excitement. Definitely a must-see show!
Great performance by all, parking, concessions, ushers were well prepared, set the bar high for the rest of the season
Gary is always a favorite for us! We see him as often as we can. Nice weather, pit area for the close experience with other fans was fun!
Venue was fabulous! Show was awesome! All 3 groups rocked the place. Definitely would do again. 5⭐
Been a fan for years. Have seen him live before and thought I knew what to expect. This show was an over amplified, distorted, disaster. Songs I’ve known for years were barely recognizable due to the distortion.
The whole evening was a great experience. The Morgan County Line and Tigirlily Gold were great opening acts and Gary Allan was non stop entertainment worthy of the Ozark Amphitheater. The updates to the theater along with improvements in parking and concessions make a very fun and venue to watch concerts. Well done.
I grew up listening to Gary Allan and being able to see him was nothing short of EPIC. I am so glad we were able to attend this concert and see him live. He has a wonderful voice, sounds just like he does over the radio or streaming. I would see him many times again!
Gary Allan did not disappoint! One of my lifetime favorite artists and this was the first time I had seen him. Looking forward to seeing him again! I know he can’t sing all his hits, but wish he would have sang “Today.”

Gary always puts on a great show! He sounds just as good live as he does recorded. I see him every time he plays in the St. Louis area and he never disappoints. The Factory in Chesterfield is a smaller, more intimate venue. All of the seats in the balcony are unobstructed. The venue is new, clean, has great acoustics, and the parking lot is free and easy. I hope Gary comes back to the Factory again!
It was great seeing Gary Allan. Loved The Factory concert venue. Gary’s voice was pretty rough at the start; it did improve, but still disappointing.
High energy show. Sounded amazing. Opener was also wonderful.
Gary came out at 9 and just played song after song until 10:30. No talking, just music. Opening act was good too.
Sound was not right at the beginning. Got better later on but bass was to loud. Gary was not engaging.
Gary’s performance was great! Only complaint would be the acoustics at the venue which he has no control over.
Loved hearing Gary Allan. Disappointed because even though I had good seats several in row ahead stood up ALL THE TIME!! I’m only 4 ft 10 so nothing much I could do about it. Will definitely pick different seats from now on.
