"I ain't really happy," sings Gary Allan on "Get Off on the Pain," the down-home masterstroke that begins and provides the name for his new MCA Nashville collection, "until the sky starts driving rain." Unhesitatingly frank, mercilessly guitar-crazed, it's the rocked-out country confession of a smart guy drawn to what the rest of the world calls wrong roads and long shots, or complains of as aching bones and stubbornness, or — as Allan sings in a spectacular stretch of drawn-out soulful vowels — underestimates as dark horses. And as the California-born superstar releases his eighth studio album, it's about the most Gary Allan piece anyone could imagine.

Best singer and best performer in the business. Great show and a nice venue. Ticket purchase and use at the venue was quick and easy
The show was amazing Gary Allen knows how to put on a great show. I’m also happy to be able to see his opening act Julie eddy. She put on a great show too. Amazing voice. The venue was nice. The parking kinda sucked as expected with that many people and no instruction on where is good to park. I was surprised they didn’t have any security when I went into the building or the show too! Overall an amazing experience.
Great concert! All my favorites and he still has it! Band was very talented also.
Great concert had excellent seats would go see him again
Terrible concert terrible sound at least 16 people walked out with me. Spent a lot of money on trash.
Gary Allan was amazing as usual! However, I paid for 3 front row tickets at the BridgeView Center in Ottumwa. No where did it say “obstructed view” Had a large black curtain that blocked almost all of our view. So disappointed!!!! Paid close to 450 dollars to see a sliver of my favorite artist!!
Great seats and great show! Gary Allan never disappoints. The security did a great job keeping people that did not have seats away from the stage!
We have been to this Venue twice to see Gary now and it is one of our favorite venues to see him at. We have seen him several times also. Thank you for the amazing night!
The lighting was on fleet. The sound was awesome. He sounded great. Great overall experience!
First time at this event plaza. Super clean and well staffed! Every staff member was helpful and very friendly. Looking forward to future concerts here!
Great concert but the intermission between the opening artist and Gary was over 30 min long. Not real sure why they didn't set up the stage before the opener being she only used an acoustic guitar. Otherwise great concert!!
Another awesome show by our my GA!! I was worried about his voice the first 2 or 3 songs in. I was so glad to see and hear it "settle"in. Can't wait till the next one and fan club party.
We saw Gary in Warren. Perfect venue from the quick drink lines to easy parking. Gary put on one of the best live shows I’ve seen! …….but it’s a beautiful ride❤️
My wife and I have seen Gary Allan 5-6 times and he’s better every time we see him again. During the last show, he song 22 songs and each one was GREAT!!!!! I can’t wait to see him again!!!!
His songs are so good! It ain’t the whiskey is one of my favorites!
This is the fourth time I have seen him and he’s always amazing. Can’t wait to go see him again.
Gary Allan is easily the most underrated country music artist of our generation! He’s an exceptional entertainer!! His fan following speaks for its self!! I look forward to every GA concert within driving distance for me!!!! Outstanding show!!
Look, Gary Allan is an amazing artist! We knew that going into the concert. But none of us expected it to be even better the older we have “all” gotten! The man is amazing, lyrics are superb and on point! Would definitely go see him again anytime he’s in this area. Thank you Gary for all the years brother!
I have been lucky enough to see Gary Allan twice. He sounds great and puts out a great show. My wife was impressed with him playing 4 or 5 different guitars during his set. His band is fantastic!
