He made me laugh for 2 hours non-stop in spite of the election 5 days earlier. The audience was in stitches the whole time. He did not take a break and had us all raptly awaiting his next punch line. Loved it when he'd have a "sneaky" smile at his own clever jokes/stories!
Began and ended with poignant sing-a-long--great to hear the audience in 4-part harmony! His stories and jokes were great--though some were not meant for young kids. The entire evening was a mix of laughter and tears! Just great!
Garrison was just what I needed to shake these post election blues. He is kind and funny. Truly an American icon.
I have wanted to hear Mr. Keillor speak for years, and I finally got my chance. I expected a one and one half hour performance, and got two and a quarter hours instead. The magic of his voice is not to be believed, and his keen insight into life is comforting, while being thought provoking as well.
Great show. Felt just like being at home and listening to the radio-only better.
Third time I have seen him and he was TERRIFIC again. I could have listened to him for hours! When he engaged the audience in song, we all knew the words and were spellbound. Such stories he tells -- keep him coming back for more!
Garrison is truly a national treasure. Scheduled for 1-1/2 hours and went for 2 with every minute of the show an outstanding moment. He hates awards but, he should be considered for either the Mark Twain prize or as a Kennedy Center honoree.
Exceptional story telling wit. Along the likes of Will Rodgers but with an added musical theme.
Storyteller and comedian Garrison Keillor kept us spellbound all evening with his entertaining and folksy stories and humor. Several times throughout the evening he acted as a pseudo choir director leading the audience in old-time songs that most of the audience knew the words to. It was wonderful to hear all of the soprano/alto/tenor and bass vocal parts represented throughout the audience. We marveled at Keillor's stamina of lasting two hours straight with no intermission. He went from story to story, interspersing memorized poems and readings throughout, most of them laced with humor that had us belly laughing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable evening!
So much fun! Was like hanging out with an old friend and sharing crazy stories about the good old days!
My friend got us the tickets. We have never laughed so hard. We had seats in the 2nd Row. So the view was just AMAZING !!! Garrison was right there.
He is the best. From the moment he steps on stage, he has me in the palm of his hand, totally engaged. He is so real and has gotten more so with time. We are blessed to have him. I am of the same type of religious background as he is so I truly relate to his stories of restrictions, and yet relish the old hymns. Thank you, Garrison.

The evening was like being with friends and family going through an old photo album reminiscing about all the great times we had !!!
The man is so full of it, he is wonderful. How can anyone carry on a dialogue for an hour and a half and still maintain such wit and continuity. He even pretends to forget where he is when he wants to move the a new subject and prove how sharp he is by coming back to where he has left off after his digression.
Garrison Keillor was amazing - the audience participation was not only fun but moving, it gave us chill bumps. I could have sat there for hours listening to Mr. Keillor - unfortunately, in the blink of an eye it was over. Just a fabulous evening.

I have listened to Garrison on the radio for years and with his retirement of the Prairie Home Companion, Saturday evening is just not the same. Took my Mom to the show and we had the most wonderful evening. Garrison is the master of story weaving and just keeps you in suspense up to the final word.
