About

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias is one of America's most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world. He is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with almost a billion views and has over 25 million fans across social media.

In 2018, Iglesias was included in The Hollywood Reporter's "Top 40 Comedy Players" issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels. The comedian has also had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden in New York, Staples Center in Los Angeles and Sydney Opera House in Australia.

Iglesias is the star and executive producer of Mr. Iglesias, the multi-cam, Netflix original comedy series, which is currently streaming Part 1-3. Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being "counseled out" by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. In 2020, the show won best Primetime Comedy at The Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors/actresses in the entertainment industry.

In addition to the Netflix comedy series, Iglesias penned a deal with Netflix to release his next two stand-up comedy specials for the streaming service. The first, titled One Show Fits All, was filmed in front of a sold-out audience at the Toyota Center in Houston and debuted in January 2019. The second, Stadium Fluffy premiered on October 18th on Netflix. The special was taped in front of a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on May 6th and 7th, where Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at the iconic venue. Dodger Stadium is also the largest MLB stadium in the US.

Both of these specials are follow-ups to his highly successful 2016 special, I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry, which was filmed at the Allstate Arena in Chicago to two sold-out shows with a total of 20,000 fans in attendance.

Feature film credits include co-starring roles in Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL and A Haunted House 2. Gabriel's voice has been heard in many animated films including the recent Space Jam: A New Legacy as "Speedy Gonzales" streaming on HBOMAX. In 2017, Iglesias voiced the role of "Head Clerk" in Pixar's Academy Award nominated animated film Coco. He also voiced "Babo" in Ugly Dolls, "Rufus the Dog" in Sony's Golden Globe nominated animated holiday film The Star and "Cuatro" in Fox 20th Century Film's Academy Award nominated animated film Ferdinand. Gabriel is one of a handful of comedians with a theatrically released stand-up concert comedy film, The Fluffy Movie.

On the small screen, Fluffy's Food Adventures, a non-scripted comedic docu-follow series completed a 3-season run on FUSE TV in 2017. Gabriel was a recurring guest star on the ABC sitcom Cristela, and also guest-starred in an episode of ABC's hit comedy Modern Family. Comedy Central aired Iglesias' hit series Stand-Up Revolution for 3 seasons. Comedy Central also aired Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy in an unprecedented two-night comedy special to over 15 million viewers. The special was a follow-up to his previous DVD specials, Hot & Fluffy and I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy, which have sold millions of copies.

Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother in Long Beach, CA. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced. In 1997, he set out to hone his comedic skills, and performed stand-up anywhere he could find an audience; including biker bars and hole-in-the-wall joints. Gabriel's stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. His unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.

    Good not Great

by Doogielicious on 1/22/15Bellco Theatre - Denver

I am a really big fan of Fluffy. One of the great talents is his ability to change his voice or mimic things with his microphone...for example when he talks like a woman or when he's taking you to the club making techno music with his mic. He has that natural talent to transport your mind. This time around he told stories, but didn't use his talents as much as I'd like. And the other two comedians were funny. Overall it was a great show and I had a great time. And that's what really matter that you have a great time.

This was my 1st comedy show I ever been too and I am glad it was to see Gabriel Iglesias. He remind so much of my older brother, who I have not seen in so long. Gabriel is amazing comedy entertainer. I watch ever shows he ever did on tv and to finally see him in person was even better. The only bum out part I wasn't able to take a picture with him.

    Fluffy is hilarious

by Otaku64 on 1/22/15Hu Ke Lau - Chicopee

From the opening act comedians to Fluffy himself they were all hilarious!! This event was an unique experience that I would recommend & would like to relive. Gabriel Iglesias is a class act as a comedian and as a person. He engages the audience which gives the show a one of a kind feel. We laughed nonstop with him and I can't wait to go to another of his shows.

    The Comedians were great!

by HQuilts on 1/22/15Hu Ke Lau - Chicopee

The comedians were wonderful. I enjoyed seeing Martine in person, as I have heard so much about him. The venue was not great. The food was very bland and the seating was very tight. Unfortunately, there were a few hecklers in the audience. Gabriel handled them well, but many of us were appalled by their rudeness. Gabriel was VERY funny and stayed onstage much longer than we expected. If I went to the venue for any other performance, I would order the minimum required. The price was way too high for the poor quality food.

Why are kids at these events?

    by SusanMac2 on 1/21/15Bellco Theatre - Denver

I thought this event was kind of rough for kids. Why are kids at events that are above their level of understanding? Then the parents are offended at the language? Some don't care because it is the norm--bad language is routine at home. Gabriel is normally careful of what he says in his videos but the rest of his group is rough in live events. I understand Gabriel statement of some special populations are affected by his routine but I think that children shouldn't be at these events? I had people state that it is up to the parents. Where do we draw the line? I am not comfortable with kids being at grown-up events.

    Fluffy is AMAZING!!!!

by AldathaTe on 1/20/15Bellco Theatre - Denver

Fluffy was AMAZING!! Totally worth every penny! His openers were hilarious in their own right, and he was magnificent! He did go over, but it was AWESOME! Comedians very rarely go over and then only begrudgingly... he was happy to just stay and entertain all his devoted fans!

Gabriel Fluffy Iglesias Unity Through Laughter

by Brynth on 1/20/15Bellco Theatre - Denver

All 4 comedians were very funny. Fluffy stayed more than an hour after the scheduled time for the show to end telling stories. Definitely worth going to see for all 4 comedians.
