Furthur Tickets

Unfortunately, the days of abandoning all obligations and blindly following the Grateful Dead (or various off-shoots of said band) are long since over. And like it or not, life has produced responsibilities (i.e. children to care for) that require certain "adjustments" to otherwise routine situations. We assumed that we would be faced with an option (and yes, we were willing to even pay the disgustingly elevated $50 fee) to park WITHOUT being "stacked" in, so that we could possibly leave during the encore, relieve the baby-sitter, put the kids to bed, etc. What we found (after "driving" in Friday rush hour traffic for way too long) was that while they DO offer the "pretentious elitist" parking option, it is by reservation only. Unable to commit to getting stuck in a lot all night, we gave our tickets to a nice older man who clearly needed a miracle--at least we received his blessings and good wishes. Later at home we went online, checked the set-list for the show we missed, and made a parking reservation for Saturday night's concert which we DID attend, and enjoyed very much.

The band played yet another incredible show at the impressive Greek Theater venue on a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon matinee show!! The crowd soaked in the great tunes, danced their tushees off, and as always connected to one another throughout the whole experience; before, during, and after the performance. Highlights included: Uncle John's Band, Strawberry Fields Forever, and Let it Grow!! I'd see them anywhere, anytime.....

It great to see this band again spreading the same message: love, peace and just feeling damn good about everything and each other. Cheaper than therapy! Thank you guys. Still truckin'.

This tour (Fall 2013 West Coast) was the BEST I've seen yet! Furthur was on it the whole time!!! Getting experimental and fun. Plus, gotta love Russo's solo in King Solomon's Marbles! <3 <3 <3

Epic shows the second night being incredible in every sense of the word.the sound was incredible and guess what...no lines in the mens head.a liitle slow bar service mostly due to the fact they had to pour each beer into a plastic cup.over zealous security about smoking weed....cmon its a Furthur show ..and oh yea ITS LEGAL HERE.overall great times.

This is the best post Jerry Garcia lineup to date. I only wish they weren't going into a hiatus.

They played all the old Greatful Dead song I loved. The didn't do it with a ton of HUMF. It just seemed the were going through the motions. It lacked to old spark. To me The Greatful Dead is now offically dead.

The band was extremely hot that night. All the songs were played very well and a great song selection at that. The venue/theater was awesome as well.

Really high energy from the band, amazing set-list, intimate show at the Pearl every seat is great. Definitely was a night to remember!

Some great moments when they tapped into the groove. Other moments of overjamming and too many band members soloing at once. Technically superior. Nice retro setup with the classic piano on many songs. So so audience scene.

A wonderful performance by a stellar band. The venue (Greek Theater in Berkeley) is spectacular. I wish I could see a show there every weekend.

It's times like these when I wish I was a writer. I saw the Friday, Saturday and Sunday concerts, and they just kept getting better. Things became cosmic with Friday's encore, "Attics of My Life," and there was no letting up after that. The moonrise, Phil's constant smile, the windstorm during "Black-Throated Wind," the rain after that which just added to the atmosphere...there's too much to remember. Can't wait to see Phil in New York in November!

Awesome music, awesome venue, awesome crowd! And great weather to boot!
