    Sweet!

by artfav on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

What a warm & wonderful show. Even the pouring rain could not dampen positive energy these guys exude. The show was simply wonderful, and the band was HOT!

    Too much fun

by gonz1 on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

The boys put on a fine show. Bobby remebered all the words and the band was tight. The rain put a nice touch on it. Glad to see they still tour and have a lot of fun up there.

Going Further is well worth the ride!

by REDVANDAN on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

A step up in the music ,energy and quality, since we saw the DEAD @ the Gorge last year , (and that show was great!) The overall sound and vibe of the show felt as if we were transported back in time 20 or more years! Please keep this train rolling boys!

    Squooshy Tribal Boogy IN REDMOND?

by ChesterTartsnatcher on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

Amidst Skaadi's damp lashing of the barren Seattle eastside, the old tribe convened for another electric folky stomp. Mucho props to Weir and Lesh for continuing to carry the torch and providing the context in which to touch the stones of our culture, however unfashionable and drowned in all the mistakes we weren't supposed to make. It felt good to hear I Know You Rider after all these years. Mr K connected with the continuum and they've got the best keyboard player ever. It poured. Evceryone was soaked. But a lot of us floated back into that sneaker toe tapping booglarooo from a time past and dammit, it felt good.

    Furthur at Marymoor

by grrrlpower on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

Despite the POURING rain, this is the best Furthur show I've seen. The guitarist from Dark Star O. was excellent and the back up singers were really good.

    Not the Dead

by GRobinsonN on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

It was cool to see Bobby and Phil on stage again, but it didn't have the magic I was told to expect. I met several folks who had been in the scene for a long time who think this band sounds as good or better than the Dead did towards the end. Maybe the very end, but my experiences at 2 dozen or so shows from '86-'92 were far more interesting musically. No disrespect to Bobby, Phil, or the fans; but less Brent, Jerry, and the rhythm devils I wonder if those who hear the Dead in this band might be holding on a bit too tightly... let them go.

    Fun was had by all!

by sugare on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

The show was great despite the torrential rain. They pulled out some great oldies and more obscure songs. Half Step - Stagger Lee was a great start, ending with We Bid You Goodnight (a great way to walk out of a venue).

    Rainy day Dead

by madcatlaughs on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

It rained throughout both set, but that just meant the crowd was twice as determined to have a good time. Both sets had an amazing energy that only happen when a band is playing the music they love to a crowd who loves it just as much. Also, they premiered one (possibly two?) new song that Phil wrote with his son. Thank you Furthur, for a real good time!

    Wet

by gdtr on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

Thought Dark Star Orchestra did the Dead better than the Dead do the Dead. Unless it's July or August wouldn't suggest an outdoor show in the great Pacific Northwest.

    Further as always was amazing!

by Riley357 on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

The guys put on a great show! The oncore should have been "Rain" though! So glad you are still doing it after all these years! The weather didn't really cooperate since it poured all night but getting wet was worth it!

What a great show! I have never enjoyed dancing in the rain so much!! The band was absolutely awesome, sound was good, people were awesome! I never listened to the Grateful Dead growing up.....long story, but no "secular music" I just discovered the music in my late 30s and will always love it!! Rock ON!

    Heaven in the Rain

by Marbs on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

The band was doing a soundcheck as we lined up at the gates a couple of hours before the show. It sounded like they were into it. They started at 6:12 for a 6 pm show and never looked back until they ended just before 10 (with an hour break). I only counted about 12-15 songs but they were all tight with great jams. They were especially on from a blues perspective. And Dear Mr. Fantasy was just incredible. The rain just made things better, like a throwback concert. Great vibe all night.

    Further was spot on

by CowboyFish on 9/20/10Concerts At Marymoor - Redmond

Through the driving rain and some mud the band was great. It was wonderful to hear and while it was wet, at least it was warm.

Further was simply the best since Jerry

by tepmi on 8/29/10Mann Music Center - Philadelphia

Just outstanding. The band was right on, took me back in time to a great place. I hope they come around and around again and again!
