Train was absolutely amazing! I bring your family and friends to see the greatest band ever!
The whole night was great. Did not like that there was only one entrance to expo hall--- hard to find and senseless walking. But the shows were great. Cheap Trick; Smashing Pumpkins wtc all were great. Train never fails to deliver and tonight was no exception. Hope the lineup is as good next year!
We saw Phillip Phillips and Train on Friday night Loved the concept with the multiple stages and bands, and the mid-way rides all included in the price. A great first year effort and hopefully this will become an annual event that will grow and grow. More diversity among the types of music would be great. The Food Truck circle was a nice addition, though we felt sorry for the one vendor in a tent who was stuck behind the wall of food trucks and almost invisible. But they were a great find as they had some really great roast beef!
I went soley to see cheap trick at the festival, they played in the expo hall, only played for an hour but man what an amazing show. Those men always deliver a great performance, & no matter what other band I see, there is no doubt that Mr. Robin Zander is the best live singer of all.
I went to see Train. They were WONDERFUL as usual. I can't say enough on them. The festival itself was...meh. It's your average carnival. Average bordering on lower end. They had a petting zoo, which at first was neat, until you see the giraffe in a tiny pen with hardly any room to move around! So that made this review difficult. If I were to rate Train? It'd have been 5 stars no doubt. But since I'm reviewing the whole event? I had to knock down a few stars.
Funshine didn't explain that the bands I bought the tickets to see were going to be on other stages outside the amphitheater. My friends and I had no interest in seeing train and phill Phillips and therefore we passed on the entire event and saw an unbelievable free concert by the hip abduction in pass a grille beach for beach goes pops festival instead. 150.00 was spent on these tickets that should have gone to something else.
