Both bands were awesome and played a great show! They both got the crowd into the show!

  • Great Fuel Concert

by DFlameking on 11/17/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Glad I made it out to see the band play in person. Other two band Marvlec and Ghosts of Gloria were pretty decent too. Caught a T Shirt too. Awesome performances and I had a great time. The venue was pretty cool as well.

by Anonymous on 11/9/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was exactly what I was hoping for. Brett hasn't skipped a beat. I'm glad he's back and can't wait to see them again.

  • This concert was definitely unforgettable!!

by BuffyfromFtLauderdale on 11/9/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

On November 4th we ventured to the Culture Room for the FUEL concert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was absolutely a great time from the moment we arrived. 2 warm up bands played and then FUEL came on. They were all well worth the wait. Having played for about 2 hours, FUEL jammed, continuing to show that they are true rockers. They have nothing to prove....hit after hit all night!! I am in love with Carl Bell! I truly love his style and he looked fabulous! I hope my date did not get jealous!!!!! From Buffy in Fort Lauderdale

  • Fuel Rocked the Culture Room

by chellebell on 11/8/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show. So great to see the original singer for Fuel. If it had been someone else I wouldn't have went. They rocked the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale. Incredible energy and sounded great. Hope they keep on rocking.

  • It was pretty good

by JBWeeji on 11/8/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

I realized after the first 4 songs why I never listened to Fuel past the singles. I am typically the antitheses of people who only listen to singles, but I never got further into Fuel. At the concert, their songs that weren't singles didn't really stand out much, and sounded like standard muddy post-grunge. I listened to the albums after the concert to confirm, and they sounded pretty much the same as they did at the concert. It was a decent performance, but I wouldn't recommend it to a "casual" Fuel fan.

The concert was awsome, I love Fuel and The second band that opened for Fuel was very good too

  • THEY STILL GOT IT!

by NMLG on 11/7/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing to say the least, after being a fan for over a decade i was so pumped to hear some of the older material from these guys. The best of the show was when frontman Brett Scallions brought out his wife Abby Gennett to sing a duet together. They closed the show with "In My Hands" and they absolutely brought the place to new heights. Amazing band, show, venue and setlist. Go see Fuel!

  • Fuel Rocked!

    by Ernie123 on 11/6/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

It was awesome to see Fuel perform the songs that I loved, even though it was not the original lineup. They were so energetic and its amazing to see how much they love their music and what they do, and then that energy is passed to you, and it makes for a great night. Ghost of Gloria opened up for them, a local South Florida band. They were amazing as well. They had an awesome stage presence as well as really catchy songs. I highly recommend checking them out. Overall, it was a great show, I could not have asked for anything better.

  • FUEL rocked the house!!

Fuel is such an amazing band. I wish they would tour more often. Brett Scallions is such a powerful performer with the best rock voice. Can't wait to see them again. Two thumbs up.

  • Fuel Is Back?

by jgmusic on 6/5/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

I Love FUEL, Always have. When I heard that they were playing with Original Vocalist Brett Scallions I grabbed a ticket as fast as I could. The Night of the show I was Pumped up to see them only to find that it was ONLY Original Vocalist Brett Scallions and not the rest of Fuel (Carl Cox, Jeff Abercrombie etc.) The show was awesome, don't get me wrong. Brett's Voice was in good form and the song choices were perfect. I just wish it was FUEL.

  • Fuel Delivers

by Swayland on 6/2/10Cubby Bear - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Fuel fans that missed the Chicago show missed out on a truly incredible performance. Brett Scallions brings it home with his raw rock energy and incredible voice. There was no doubt in my mind that Fuel left everything on that stage last night. Yogi Lonich doesn't disappoint on guitar with his great rock and blues style accompanied by Brad Stewart keeping the hard driving Fuel rhythm on bass and Ken Schalk nailing the lid tight on drums. All that and the graciousness they showed their fans puts this show on my radar as one of the best rock gigs I have ever seen. I will never forget this performance and can't wait for their return.

  • Fuel was mediocre

by 1hotscorp on 5/25/10Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Songs they played were good but expected music from angels and demons heard all the songs they played years ago when I saw the original band

  • FUEL ROCKS!!!!

by mishyfuel on 5/25/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing!! It was so great to have Brett back singing Fuel songs! He is just as awesome as always! They totally rocked the house! They also did a cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here that was so good! Loved it!! I loved everything about the show! Brett Scallions is the COOLEST ROCK STAR EVER!!!

  • by Anonymous on 5/24/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

Brett Scallions is as magnetic and energetic as ever. He's a born frontman. The new bandmembers did an excellent job. Would have liked to have heard some new material, but the show was fantastic and the sound was excellent.

  • Good show despite most of original band missing

by Fatherofthreegirls on 5/24/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 4 out of 5

Brett sounded good but he was the only remaining original member. They did most of the big hits, Hemorrhage, Shimmer, Bad Day, Sunburn, Jesus or a Gun, Bittersweet. Yogi's guitar work was very good.

  • Great having Brett back!

by JaredK on 5/24/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 4 out of 5

Granted it was only 1 of the 4 original members, however it was great having Brett Scallions back as the lead for Fuel. It was more like Brett singing Fuel songs than actually "Fuel" as we grew up loving them with Carl, Jeff Abercrombie and Kevin Miller in the band. He did a great job on vocals, maybe not 100% his old voice but still did great. Sucks seeing your favorite bands get older. I was really hoping Kevin and Jeff would be there, great guys and really made the band. I have to say Yogi sort of slaughtered a few of the solos. He really should have stuck to how the song should be played and not improvise so much. One thing Carl did very well was play every song how you heard it on the album which is what you expect. Great show overall, bit disappointed in the crowd, Ozone came on and I wanted to start a pit and everyone stood around like sticks in the mud. Have some fun people!
