Celebrate joy. Celebrate wonder. Celebrate magic. At Disney’s FROZEN, every moment gives us something to celebrate. This show is filled with breathtaking effects, iconic songs, and a story that warms even the coldest of hearts.
ABC News calls it “Joyous and triumphant!” And L.A. Daily News raves it’s “Simply magical.”
Experience FROZEN, the Broadway musical worth melting for.
My husband and I absolutely loved this Disney production. All the performers were fantastic! A must see as far as we are concerned.
For those who think this "kids" movie would not translate to the Broadway stage could not be more wrong. I have never seen a more beautiful stage design and the special effects truly make you feel as though Elsa is shooting her cold frost across the your view. The true high points of the production come as Caissie Levy knocks the roof off of the St. James Theater while singing what will be the song of the year in "Monster" and of course during her rendition of the classic "Let it Go" which was the pinnacle of chills down your spine as her last note brought about pure darkness heading into the intermission you didn't want to come. The cast was fantastic, orchestra brought the singing to life and the whole crowds hands hurt from all the applause from the stellar performance....Highly recommend.
I highly recommend this performance to every Frozen fan. I absolutely LOVED the movie, but the musical was actually better. The story works better as a Broadway musical than a movie which shocked me. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I go to most Disney musicals because of the sets, costumes, special effects. Most times not for the music, unfortunately. Beauty & the Beast will always bear the best of the musical scores and performances. FROZEN has been a one-sing show ("Let It Go") from the start, and this expanded version doesn't change that. The score is uninspired and it rambles all over the place - scenes thrown in here and there to seemingly flesh out a kid's favorite cartoon. Little girls love it--it's another kind of "Wicked". The special effects don't disappoint. We had a personal disappointment in that "Anna" didn't go on for our performance. Instead we were given an African-American with a brown wig! Sorry, but the show is one blonde princess and one red head princess. It's the basic tenet of the animated feature! Talk about spending hundreds a dollars for ONE TICKET and not getting your money's worth. If you have little girls, go. If not, head up to Lincoln Center and see MY FAIR LADY!
With so many shows but so few that appropriate for both my girls (3rd & 6th grade) Frozen was a home run. The cons....lots of young families in the audience, some were too young. The theater (and the seats) are pretty small. BUT, I would absolutely recommend this. Adapted beautifully from screen to Broadway, the best part is always watching your kids watching it in awe. The lights and characters , songs and snow all added to this "new" Disney classic.
Thought the show was great but have to be honest a little confused why the 2 main characters were no longer Norwegian and the "naked" scene.
My five year old daughter and I went to see Frozen and we both thought it was amazing and true to the original movie. Disney knock it out of the park with this one. Must see! Don’t miss it! The performances were outstanding. I loved the visual effects on stage.
It was amazing, Disney does it again! Great show! The effects and actors the best!
We thought that Frozen was fantastic! The actors, singing, stage sets, and the special effects all resulted in a wonderful, unforgettable show. Such a great story about family brought to life on the stage!
Great show, beautiful staging, increased the depth of the story. A great family event.
If you liked the movie Frozen, you'll likely really enjoy the musical. All the songs you love are there, and it's very consistent with the plot of the movie. The leads were well cast, and some of the special effects and new songs are great. Surprisingly, we enjoyed the second act more than the first. We brought our almost-6-year old to a matinee and she and many other children were dressed up in Frozen costumes. Seats (in the mezzanine at least) are a little tight; booster cushions are available for little ones, Plus for parents: Frozen-themed cocktails in adult sippy cups. Heads up: a young Anna or Elsa souvenir dolls runs $30; the Elsa Barbie had a $60 price tag.
Just wonderful!! A great show fro all ages!! The new songs were great and the cast did an amazing job! I would highly recommend this show to everyone!!! Definitely check it out!!
I recently took my six-year-old daughter to see Frozen for her first Broadway show and we both loved it! The acting and singing was phenomenal, and the show was faced - paced enough to hold my daughter 's attention for the entire time. The new music fit in seamlessly with the original songs. I'm so glad that this production was able to instill a love of Broadway in my daughter, and I can't wait to take her to her next show!
Fifteen of us saw Frozen last weekend, including 6 children. We were all in agreement that it was amazing. There were two six year olds who said that it was the best day of their lives, and can we go see it again. Everyone around us was having a great time. The music was fantastic, and so were all of the actors. I especially loved Patti Murin (who played Anna). Her voice was amazing and so was her acting. I would highly recommend!!!
I was expecting to enjoy this show but I was completely blown away by how good it was. I went with my daughter and granddaughter and I will remember that experience for the rest of my life! Excellent!
My mom, sister, 5 year old daughter, and I loved the show and thought it was AMAZING! The whole cast was fantastic and we loved the special effects! I hope to see it again.
