FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is the comedic musical that lovingly pokes fun at TV's Friends, celebrating the adventures of your favorite group of 20-something friends as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan.
It's a typical day at New York's only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride enters the picture and kicks the whole gang out of second gear! The new musical recreates our favorite moments from all 10 years of Friends through an uncensored, fast-paced, music filled romp. Recommended for mature audiences.
I had high hopes for this show because I also saw 90210 the musical and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I didn’t find this show as much fun. I am more familiar with the material from Friends and perhaps that led to fewer surprises.
My wife an I loved this show. The show stayed mostly with the time line and story line. It was absolutely hilarious. Would definitely recommend.
What a great time! The show was fabulous! I loved that references from all the seasons were highlighted in this short span of time. I laughed out loud as did all the folks in the theater! ALL the characters were great BUT my absolute favorite was Rachel! The actress who played her had me laughing so loud at how "on-key" she was with her voice, facial expressions and mannerisms. Anyone who enjoyed the series would LOVE this musical! Highly recommended!
I’m a huge Friends fan and was very impressed with all the storylines they hit on! Also, the actresses who played Rachael and Phoebe were spot on with their mannerisms and voices. Great show!
So good! So funny! Best of the original show with plenty of new giggles. Loved the “character updates” and OMG loved Janice for the first time ;)
What a great show & so much fun! We laughed so much! The actors were great in their roles and most of the highlights from all 10 seasons were covered. I highly recommend it!!! You won’t be sorry!!!
The “FRIENDS” musical parody was hilarious. Cheesy? Yes! It was a parody! If you were not previously a fan of the sit-com you will likely not get it. Filled with inside jokes, I was laughing through the vast majority of the show. The actors worked hard at developing the exaggerated nuances of their characters. Really great!
For me, I would rate this show as I’m glad I saw it, but I wouldn’t go see it again. The actors/actresses who played Rachel and Phoebe had their mannerisms on point. The few guest surprises were fun, minus the monkey. The second act was a slightly annoying because it went out of order, and it portrayed Joey as being extremely unintelligible rather then a guy who is a bit flakey. Knowing the show was going to be a lot to pack in 1.5 hours, most of the good, memorable episodes were included. If you liked and continue to watch Friends, go see it...just don’t have too high of hopes that your favorite memories will be captured.
Great show! So much fun! My only issue was I had trouble hearing some parts when the actors were talking fast, but that's a sound issue, not an actor issue. The theater was really cool, not a bad seat in the house!
Theatre is great. Easy parking, roomy seats. The show wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and laughed out loud quite a few times. We appreciated the actors undoubtedly spending many hours practicing on their mannerisms - if you squinted you’d think the real cast was up there at times based on how they were standing or moving. Well, everyone except Ross. Unfortunately he just didn’t cut it for us. He was too small, too squeaky and the weakest of the bunch. We’d still recommend it but we really felt it took away from our experience.
Fun date night with my guy! We both enjoyed it a ton! Very talented cast!
The show was a surprise V-Day date for me boyfriend and I. He is obsessed with the show and have never been to a musical in his life. He really seemed to enjoy the play as much or maybe even more than I did. We loved the whole thing and would definitely recommend other people to see the performance!
The friends show was very funny. The actors did a great job portraying the characters. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and laughed almost the entire time. The staff at the venue was overall nice, except if your phone was on during or just prior to the show, then apparently you’re treated as if you killed someone (usher cussed out the couple behind us). The seats were small and I felt like the person next to me was on top of me, however there was plenty of leg room. Overall we had a good experience.
