Friends! The Musical Parody (New York) Tickets

Perhaps I am partial to the off-Broadway format. Perhaps I attend with low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the talent and energy of the actors on stage. Without the music and stage flare of an immense Broadway productions, this cast pulls off a deeply entertaining parody of a popular long-running comedy television series. This was my third time visiting the theater and certainly not my final. The setting is intimate, and each seat offers an experience as if you are a part of the production. One actor in particular, stood out as he performed multiple roles extremely well. I laughed frequently and exited the Jerry Orbach dedicated theater with an enormous smile on my face.

Finding the theater was a little tricky, I suppose just being off Broadway, it is by nature very small. It was tricky to find there are not see any signs for Friends at all to help us get there. Perhaps just a very small one on the door right inside the door. Then you go up a very long set of stairs to get to the third floor. It’s a little mysterious. I did note on the other side of the building there is another theater entrance there was an elevator for someone who needs that. So that is likely the main entrance but again no big signs at all to help assure you found the right spot. My daughter was honestly a little nervous going there. The show is cute. And there are funny moments for sure. Plenty of swearing if you ask me. I will label it as cute and leave it be. I enjoyed going there with my daughter as we love the show. Glad we went, but not blown away by it either. We did do the friends experience the next day, which helped to make our trip more worth it. We honestly went to this show as our main reason for traveling to New York City. Thankfully, it was inexpensive. I am OK that we went but I would not go again.

My husband and friend and I have never been to NYC before, and we wanted the true off Broadway experience. As our first show, this blew us out of the water. The cast was full of energy amd entertained us thoroughly. A must see for any fan of Friends.

If you are a Friends Fan then what better show to see, especially in New York. Very funny with the right amount of homage to the original show.

An enjoyable show, brought back many memories. I like cozy theaters. Ross and Jennifer -will they? Lol If you're a Friends fan go see it!

Really funny, great singers, this show revives the tv serie!

While the characters picked up on the nuances of the actual cast members, it was very low budget and boring. Save your $. Best part was spending time with my daughter.
