I came to Chicago for the Farewell Frankie Beverly Concert, for my 1st solo trip. I grew up listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze as a young girl, I had the opportunity to see him for the very first time in Muskegon Michigan back in 2007,so for his last concert I had to go. El Debarge was great he brought memories of the house parties, Chaka Khan did her thing. But the Grand Finale Mr Frankie Beverly and Maze was one for the books , we sang, we dance some sitting next to me cried. Mr Beverly gave so much to his Fans and we Thank You! Your sacrifices for these last concerts doesn't go unnoticed! You deserve all the Happy Feelings, forever We Are One, there will be some Joy and Pain, but Before I Let Go, I want to Thank You. Frankie Beverly fan . Enjoy your retirement, you deserve it all! 🤍😊
It was very nice. Chaka was great and El Debarge was awesome!!!!
The crowd we'll awesome and dressed to the Tee. The band was amazing. All performances were great. My mom absolutely had a ball. Best time ever. People were dancing and stepping in the crowd.
The Frankie Beverly & Maze concert with Chaka Khan and El Debarge as openers was a good night of music for those of us 40 years and older. The song selections were great, the musicians were tight, and the atmosphere was "old school classic"One thing that will always be a pet peeve of mine's is I just hate it when Black artists never start their concerts at the stated time. And this concert was no different. Nevertheless is was a nice concert
Surprised my mother with tickets to this concert. We sang, danced, and laughed all night. We had an amazing time together. One thing that I loved about the show was the contrast between black and white. The arena was pitch black, but many folks were wearing white. To me this represented darkness vs light. Frankie Beverly & Mazes music brings out the Happiness (light) in people. To be able to take my mother out on a date to this concert was a blessing. Thank you, God. I will always cherish this day. Lastly, thank you Frankie Beverly and Maze, Chaka Khan and others for putting on an amazing show. The artists from the concert did a wonderful job. I'm 24 years old and your music has stood the test of time. There is nothing like good music that electrifies people. Blessings.
I enjoyed the concert. Each artist was AMAZING! This was my daughters first concert and it did not disappoint!!
I could relate to all the songs that he sang ..I have been a fan for many, many years. I first got hip to him at the "Taste of Chicago". I even worked there the first year.I moved and I got married and went down to see him in New Orleans at the Essence Festival when I moved to Ms.I love him and his music. I am so sorry to see him go. I had to attend his final concert here in Chicago where I have moved back to.
I loved the Frankie Beverly and Maze Farewell Concert in Chicago, Illinois on 04/27/24! I traveled from St. Louis, MO to see the concert and it was well worth the trip!! Chaka Kahn and El DeBarge performed their butts off and they both sounded great too! I really enjoyed their performances! Frankie Beverly and Maze sounded great and their song selections covered all of my fondest memories of the group from day one of hearing them on the radio decades ago and over the years as well! The United Center is a lovely venue. I was upgraded from the 300 to 200 seats, but I had a nice view on the stage in either section. Yes, it was Chicago's last time seeing a Frankie Beverly and Maze concert performance, but not mines! BPC/Frankie and Maze recently added St Louis, MO to one of their LAST Farewell stops and I'll be there doing it all over again....one last time in my hometown! Thx!
OMG I had a fantastic time I’m really going to miss seeing him in concert. Every time he came to Chicago I went to his concert. His music is amazing and it touched me every time. I cried at the end of the show because I realized that the was the last time I will see him perform. I will love you forever and ever. But I want you to enjoy your retirement. You deserve it…
I enjoyed the the and I didn't have any problems bring up my tickets on my phone. Just Grateful.
Phenomenal event. Best seats in the house. To be in the same room with the GOAT- Frankie Beverly and to be a part of his goodbye tour, was bittersweet 😪. It was beautiful as the audience sang all his songs with him ❤️ Very moving 💔
The concert was Great Frankie and Chaka El Debarge was all good they still got it.
Was my first time seeing El DeBarge. He was the right opener and got the party started! Chaka looked great! As for Frankie, I am so grateful to have been in attendance for his farewell tour. Been rocking with his music since the group debuted in the 70's. Well done!
The event was worth every penny. Live entertainment at its best.
Everything was great, the process of getting in all the way to the wonderful show!! Amazing time!
The concert was nice. I just wanted to see Frankie Beverly the last time. He puts on a good concert
The concert was excellent. The was a fight that broke out in the floor section. As security was bringing them out the fight continued. The man that was fighting pushed the security guard down and they began to fight. Somehow I got shoved, at that point it changed the entire mood for me. This happened smack in the middle of Frankie Beverly's performance. After the altercation security kept coming back and forth looking for someone. Which of course at this point everyone in our section was on edge.
I will always cherish your music! You are a legend & I love you 😍. Blessing on blessings to you Frankie! ❤️ ❤️
There's nothing much to say but the show was amazing Frankie Beverly, maze, chaka Khan & El Debarge really brought it that night. I had purchased this event as a gift for my mom birthday and I must say it was money well spent. From start to finish, if I could I would do it again. I'm just glad that we were able to attend Frankie farewell tour. So sad to see him retiring but with a performance they all gave they all brought the house down. Absolutely amazing!!
