Forces of Nature Dance Theatre Tickets

Very talented dance event, excellent. I would recommend this dance company there is something for all ages.

This show was a bust. I only paid the amount of money I did because I wanted to see and hear from Sonia Sanchez. If you are familiar with her work, then you know that just 5 minutes of her time is worth more than the price of the ticket. Thus, if she was there for just 5 minutes I would have been greatly satisfied, however, she was not part of the show at all. I paid for my nephew and a random neighbor in my building to go and see her (on my minuscule budget) and there were no updates or email stating that she was not coming. I purchased my tickets at the last minute just to make sure she was still part of the program and NJPAC was still advertising Ms. Sanchez as part of the show. By the way, the dancers were nice, but not worth $45.00 alone.

IT WAS JUST AMAZING!!! I WILL RETURN FOR THIS YEAR.

We'll never forget this performance. The dancers and the band, in particular were outstanding. The stories of the past and the present and the wishes and pledges for the future touched our hearts.

The show was awsome from beginning of the show to the end.

This event was energetic and uplifting. For my younger kids they found it interesting

My wife and 12 year old son could not have been more satisfied. The celebration was amazing from beginning to end. Welcome, libation, dancers & drummers, tribute to the ancestors, celebration of the inter-generational make up of the community, the charge to the youth from the elders, the acceptance of the charge by the youth.... was so positive and inspiring. Then if that was not enough, the Forces of Nature Dancers & Drummers were Extra-Ordinary and Exceptional. Explosive, profound, on point... thanks and praises to the creator for your creative genius. Will be back next year and I vow to bring at least ten youth with us. Peace and Blessings... Ashay!

Lot of energy folk dances authentic movements an great storytelling throigh dance! It was so much fun and the energy on the stage with drumming was amazing Very true to tradition And in the end they give us fruits while leaving to celebrate Kwanzaa tradition!

I cannot tell you how much our family enjoyed the event, we did not expect such a fantastic evening.

Coming from South Africa, we found the show truly amazing and culturally inspiring.

Forces of Nature performed powerful, dynamic dance with a rich history and reverence for the traditions of the African Diaspora. The incorporation of song, poetry, dance, instrumentation, and celebration was inspiring, in a unique atmosphere that only the Apollo Theatre audience can create. Laughed, cried, learned and was uplifted. A great evening!

All of the performances were amazing!! Tremendous value for the money spent!

It's was a wonderful and spiritually reawakening experience. I will be in the house next year...hopefully with better seats and more family!
