The tournament itself was great to finally see in person. The venue was certainly the right space/place for the tournament, but could have benefitted from additional vendors for concessions. The general admission/seating was just fine and we enjoyed every round of the event we were able to catch.
My wife and I had a wonderful time with friends, alumni friends, fraternity brothers, other D9 Members and associating with the other HBCU Attendees at the games and/or hotel venues. Yes, we will be back next year!
Had a wonderful time at the Tournament! I think Baltimore did a wonderful job of “Rolling out the Red Carpet” for the Attendees! Security was great! Not one time did I feel unsafe! Shout out to The Marriott Waterfront for super accommodations! I will be attending next year!!
better entree selections. Very limited eating and drink selections. Baltimore known for crabs and seafood not offered on menu. Ran out of Ketchup on Thursday 6pm game. Definitely not prepared to handle mass attendance
The camaraderie amongst people and their schools, fraternities and the love in the atmosphere was truly amazing! The games were good as well! A must experience for any and all!

The event was excellent. Exceeded my expectations for the entire week. Great schools playing very well and all under one roof. Also a good way to catch up with friends and family. I highly recommend attending the event next year and exploring the areas in Baltimore.
I purchased my tickets for the week. I had no problems at all, it was "Scan N Go
Downtown Baltimore isn't the appropriate venue for the CIAA tournament. The area is filthy, not to mention unsafe. The hotels are ridiculously expensive for such low rated property. The amenities that are mentioned on the website are false and the staff make excuses for the false information. We are not accommodated for the amount of revenue that we bring to the city. Parking is expensive in addition to the extremely high hotel rates. A friend's car was vandalized and his hotel didn't have heat for two days. If the city wasn't willing to make our stay comfortable, they should not have entered a bid on an event of this caliber.
Everything was great except for the ticket purchase by phone and scanning process, BIG problem.
The renovated venue was great and we thoroughly are enjoying ourselves. The customer service at all of the events associated with the 2023 CIAA was superb!!!!

Quick and easy entry. Great seats! The games were nailbiters and the halftime shows were awesome! My family and I will attend next year’s festivities for sure!
It was an enjoyable an exciting experience. Wonderful seeing friends from Alma Mater and the HBCU family. It is unfortunate that the prices for food and goods were extremely expensive. For many, this opportunity is out of reach for middle age and younger incomes. Fortunately, the HBCU specific schools had hospitality rooms.
