Big 12 Team - But Not Facilities Ready (Not even close)

by TThe FurmanaTTor on 4/2/24John Euliano Park at UCF Baseball Complex - Orlando

Enjoyed three great games ... all 1 run decisions BUT the stadium/facilities were a complete joke for a Power 5 conference league team. Concessions and Restrooms were both absolutely pitiful. In talking to UCF fans at the games ... school has not committed any funds to upgrade the facility to be "Big 12 worthy"as they are putting all of their available sports funds into the football stadium expansion. Having visited all of the "base Big 12"schools (those prior to bringing in the 4 new teams this year) ... the UCF stadium/facilities are worse than any of those teams ... and worse than Houston as well. I have not seen either the BYU or Cincinnati facilities so UCF may be better than those ... which would mean those would truly be some of the worst in college baseball at the Power 5 level.

More Controls at UCF Baseball Games

by FK on 3/17/23John Euliano Park at UCF Baseball Complex - Orlando

I have no complaints regarding the ticket experience, but I do have some recommendations for the UCF Athletic department that I am hoping will be visible to them. I purchased 2 tickets and the seats were behind home plate ($25 each). They were great seats; however, there was no one monitoring the entire lower section behind home plate to ensure only people who purchased tickets for that section were sitting in that section. I saw several people moving from section to section in that area and open seat to open seat, including the two seats next to me until a couple that actually purchased those seats made them move. It was very obvious they did not have tickets for that section. Also, what appeared to be a high school baseball team was sitting in our lower chair back section behind home plate. A group of the boys would sit down in a row of 5 or 6 seats, then after an inning or two, they would all get up and a new set of boys would sit down. This went on for the entire game and it was in my row (and other rows), so I and others in the row were constantly having to stand up to let them by in and out of the row. It would seem to me that UCF would have controls in place for one of the most expensive ticket areas in the stadium. Additionally, I was in row 6 and behind me was a section for the handicapped. That was not an issue, but people that were not handicapped were standing behind us. There were 3 young boys (ages 3-5) standing right behind our row in the handicapped section and they yelled and chanted loudly the entire game. The couple sitting next to me left after only a few innings because the kids were yelling right into their ears, and I am sure they were tired of the baseball team's antics. The game against FSU was great, but UCF needs to monitor for this type of behavior and ensure it does not infringe on the fans trying to enjoy a ball game, especially when paying for very good seats. I am not sure if I will go back to a UCF game, but if I do, I will not sit in the lower tier (even though the view was great) until UCF puts some controls in place to prevent the chaos that I witnessed and to protect the integrity of the seating arrangements.

    Pathetic is a overstatement!

by Sad Senior on 3/15/23John Euliano Park at UCF Baseball Complex - Orlando

I have never left a ballgame as early as this one. The ‘home’ team went through 3 pitchers and gave up 10 runs in the 1st inning! 4 innings was all I could take. Opposing team is not considered a ‘powerhouse’ . I hope they can do better next time. 😥

Great Experience - Whished I'd Thought of This Years Ago

by Kyle on 5/3/22John Euliano Park at UCF Baseball Complex - Orlando

What a great experience and a terrific value! Comfortable seating, in the shade, and close to the action. The food and beverage prices are amazing low (Friday special - $5 for hot dog and bottle of soda). With admission at only $15 for the very best seats and lower prices in other areas, free parking, and great concession prices this is a fantastic entertainment value for friends and families. Go Knights!

First Time to a Baseball Game

by Knight Fan on 4/29/22John Euliano Park at UCF Baseball Complex - Orlando

Attended the Spring football game and decided to catch a baseball game while there. Facility was nice and general admission seats were better than expected. Compared to the football games I’ve been attending at the bounce house for many years, the fan energy level was much less but expected for the slower-paced sport. Overall, had a great time.
