    Amazing Show

    by RadRob79 on 1/24/17Hobby Center - Houston

It's shorter than I would have liked however I completely understand. These dancers are super active for quite some time. Maybe add more dancers to make the show longer. Would have made my ticket price more worth it.

The story line did not make sense and you could tell it was their last stop of the tour.

    VERY IMPRESSIVE

by princessjamie5 on 1/18/17Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Great show! Red Bull always puts on an attention grabbing and well put together production! The Flying Steps have some real stamina! You will find yourself sitting there saying "WOW did you see that:" to whoever is sitting next to you! The choreography went right along with the classical music like you would never imagine and they were in perfect sync with each other. They throw in a little hip hop twist into some of the songs that's really cool and some of the music is from a recording, and some of it is played live on the pianos. It's a great show that the whole family can enjoy. Well.. you probably don't want to take the little bitty kids but probably 5 years and up can enjoy it if they are into that kind of thing. (I don't have kids so I could be soo wrong LOL) The whole show last about an hour. We went to a 4:00 which was perfect timing to get there and get back home for dinner (we lived about 50 minutes away from the venue we went to ).

Loved every moment. It was so different, I didn't know where to focus on. The piano, the dancers, the movements, the background, the theatre...it was all amazing. Would highly recommend.

Breakdancing and Classical music? Seems like an odd combo. But once together, prepare to be in awe. On point, amazing tricks, live classical music on piano and harpsichord . Lots of fun for everyone.

    Cultural appropriation at its finest

by DRREAD on 1/11/17Warner Theatre - Washington

While the event was well directed and produced. I was very disheartened with the utter lack and disregard for the historical and cultural underpinnings of the dances. Additionally, the fact that there were no Puerto Rican or Black performers, the people who originated the dances in The Bronx were neither present or acknowledged was equally disparaging. While they were acknowledged by some of the dancers this was not conveyed at all during the performance. Just another example of the originators not getting their due credit or respect for their efforts of originating a cultural, musical and performance phenomenon.

    Cool Show, but Pricey

by DadwithBreakingKid on 1/11/17Warner Theatre - Washington

My kids enjoyed the show, but it was only 60 minutes which means that for $200 for 4 people, it was very expensive. Plus, there were two very strange movie interludes which we didn't understand. The breakdancing was amazing and didn't disappoint.

Show was great, especially for tween boys!

by Xinablinks on 1/10/17Warner Theatre - Washington

I always look for "cultural" events that I can share with my children, and came across Flying Bach. My 11 and 9 year old sons loved it! There were some slow bits during the show, but they were quickly forgotten when the breakdancing started. Music was provided by piano, harpsichord and what can best be described as Techno-Bach. We loved it all!

    Wonderful show

by Favorito on 1/10/17Warner Theatre - Washington

I liked the show very much! A confrontation of two art forms of different centuries: Music ( Bach and Modern electronic) and Dance (modern ballet and Breakdance). An exiting fusion. The dancers were amazing and showed spectacular acrobatic. Congratulation.

    Slow paced

by Shellylay on 1/10/17Warner Theatre - Washington

The concept is really cool, but i went in expecting a high energy show, and the energy was spotty. When it was the break dancing segment, it was awesome, but the transitions between scenes made the show slow.

Great Show for Kids and Adults

    by JackAttacksMom1 on 12/14/16Comerica Theatre - Phoenix

Unique performance that kept my 9 year old enthralled throughout the show. I'm not skilled in dance so I don't know the names of any of the moves but these guys were impressive. Loved that there was an underlying story. The ballet dancer is very elegant as well. Only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are; the long awkward period where they showed images on the screen without dancing, and that some of the artist chose not to do a solo at the end.

    Mediocre, especially for the money

by Jnysmk on 12/14/16Comerica Theatre - Phoenix

My wife and I were expecting something incredible, but were disappointed. The show became repetitive in short order and I was thinking it was just me and that my wife was probably having a great time, so I decided to keep my mouth shut and just go with the moment. But her response after the show was, "well, they are good athletes and dancers, but I expected more for the money".

    Disappointed

    by Simplyme101 on 12/14/16Comerica Theatre - Phoenix

We were very excited to see this production. But within the first 5 min we realized that Bach and break dancing does not mix. The choreography was horrible. Weve seen better dancing in a club. By all means the spinning was great but the actual break dancing was poor and had very little of.
