Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

There is nothing like a live hockey game. It is the best sport to see in person.

The seats were great. The game was a bit slow for the first two periods but the action heated up by period three and the last few minutes were very exciting. Loved being able to take the family for such and incredible ticket price!!! Thank you.

It has been awhile since I have attended a Floriday Panthers hockey game, maybe 2 years . I used to go fairly often. As for last nights game versus Carolina Hurricanes: The Florida Panthers need bigger and more skilled players to compete and be a winner in pro hockey. Do not get me wrong, the team hustled and won the game but it will take more than that to be competitive against much better teams and to bring more fans. It will take (as usual) $$$$$ from the owners. As for the arena itself, it is still very nice. However I do think it is time to change the carpet leading up to the Budweiser Bar / Lounge area. Actually the entertainment in and around the arena looked fun. The ice dancers looked hot and were entertaining. I will be going again during this season.

The seats were beyond expectations. Very comfortable and definitely an upgrade from the section 400 area. I would love to attend all my events with the Panthers at the Lexus level... Super!

  • Panthers a young & exciting team

by mjpdogs on 11/5/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

My family and I had a really great time at the Florida Panthers game. The team is young and exciting. I was also glad to see some of the players I remember from last year. I am sure I will be going again when they play other teams.

  • Panthers / Carolina

by e12345 on 11/5/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

Venue was clean and not crowded. Food lines were short. Had plenty of room around my seat because not all the seats were filled. Sight lines for the game in club levels seats are excellent. No problem watching or hearing the action. Liked the announcer calling offsides or icing by team to explain calls to fans who do not know the game as well. Turnoffs - Ordered a pulled pork sandwish for $9.00. Thought it was dangerous of arena to leave all of the money out on the table. Person who takes the money turned his back on me several times to obtain soda so I think an easy target for theft. Offered a little cup of slaw or these crappy tasting stale chips. Thought a choice of bagged chips or some hot fries would be nice. During in between periods Craig Minervini (sp?) gathers a crowd so difficult to walk by that section of seating. Updates on other scores not too often and only events described were Andrea Bocceli and Siberian Orch. No kids events or non concert events like basketball. When is Orange Bowl classic?

  • Catss vs Cames

by Joval on 11/5/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

It started out badly with the Canes outshooting the Panthers but someone gave them some caffiene during the 2nd intermission because they came back with a vengeance. I had a great time and plan to be back at the next game on 11/6. BTW - getting the tickets through Ticketmaster was amazingly easy...

  • Panthers 3-0 victory!

by PensGirl on 11/5/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

The Panthers games are always a fun time. Great for families, business, or a date.. I've gone as all of the above. Lots going on at the game, the venue is fantastic (although its cold so dress warm!), and lots of food and beverage choices although they are definitely pricey. It's always a fun night out! Especially when the Panthers win!

  • Section 407!!! Excellent!

by Jorly on 10/31/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

When we purchased the $0.75 tickets we were expecting to have shoddy seats... what we got was unbelievable. The section 407 seats we sat at allowed us to see and experience every defensive and offensive move throughout the game... Florida Panthers! You run a great operation and as a family of fans! We recommend without any reservation whatsoever the upper seating section!!!! Affordable and exillerating!

A fast paced exciting game got sooo much better when I was right up on all the action. What a difference seeing the player's expressions and intensity up close and personal. It really gave a whole new feel to the game time experience. Just plain awesome!!!

During that time we the croud and myself went nuts. It was a good game.We ran out of time this time! We have one of the yongest team with so much talent, but WAIT AND WATCH......Gabou

  • Hockey or Ice Dancing

by Frustrator on 10/29/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

An NHL event is always something exciting, but when it comes to SW Florida this not only combines Sports but Frustration. The Arena is extremely nice, the seats however empty because the home team doesn't really attract enough spectator. The atmospher therefor is not the same then watching a Boston, Rangers, or Chicago game at their home arena. The game play made a "Home" Supporter extremely frustrating, nonetheless we are talking about NHL Hockey. Peiople were blaiming the fact that Booth and Dvorak was not on the lineup... nah it was more then that poor Hockey skills and not really the conviction from the players itself to see that winning is a must if you want to bring people to watch you.

  • Fantastic time, too bad the puck hit the post!

by Boats4less on 10/29/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

We had a great time at the game, the seats were great and it didn't hert that there were 4 very pritty girls sitting in front of us enjoying the game too! When the game was tied and the Senators scorred those 2 quick goals at the end of the 2nd period, I thought the Panther's goose was cooked, but they battled back and made a game of it. Dan puck hit the post twice in a 4-3 game during the 3rd period that would have tied it! It's alsway enjoyable going to a Panther's game. I wish the still had the out of town scoreboard on the wall the way they did a few years back. We also appriciated sitting in the lower bowel for a change, we usually sit up top, which is fine, but the change was fun.

  • The Panthers are snakebitten!

by Millar on 10/29/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

My friend and I had a great time at the game. We felt bad for the Panthers since the go ahead goal for the Senators came from a deflection off of a Panther player's skate.

  • Panthers v. Ottawa

If this is the best the Panthers can do, we are in for a very long season.

Panther game is a lot fun. had great seats. Come out and support the team. Though I would recommend eating in advance concession prices are off the chart.
