Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

  • Nice one-time

by Winnatotch on 1/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

This was our first hockey game, and a much anticipated family event for me, my husband, and our 16 year-old son. The event was alot of fun for us all, and we would love to be able to attend more hockey games, but between the incredibly high cost of the seats, as well as the "rip-off" at the concession stands (good heavens...the prices were obscene), we simply could not afford to consider attending another Panthers hockey game again any time soon. At least we can say we've been to one hockey game...

  • Montreal dazzled us

hey, that was one of the most entertaining, wild games i've seen in a long time. End to end action and 9 goals! amazing. Worth every penny.

I'm a big hockey fan so any game is a good game. I like the Bank Atlantic Center for games. All of the seats have a good view and the concourses are very well stocked.

  • Panthers VS Bruins

Took my grandaughter and we both enjoyed the evening.

  • Poor Customer Service

by csagoose on 12/28/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

I waited in line at the will call window for over 20 minutes. By the time I got in the arena the game had started. There was never an apology by anyone at Bank Atlantic Center.

  • Go Bruins!!!

by BostonBruinsFan on 12/28/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Game was outstanding as the Bruins won the game and got a badly needed two points. GW goal was scored by Marco Sturm with a big thanks to Kamel Kreps of the Panthers who gave up on covering him and enabled Marco to score the goal. Tim Thomas was excellent in goal except for the squib goal scored by Domnic Moore in the first period. Bruins kill all Panther powerplay opportunities. Game was great and I had a great time!

  • I was disappointed

by disappointedfanman on 12/28/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 1 out of 5

I brought tickets on line and made the mistake of getting them at WILL CALL window after arriving early half an hour did not get into the arena until 2 minutes prior to the end of first period! Long lines and slow service made us 5 ticket holders miss the majority of the 1st period!

  • Chilly Arena Spoils Great Game

by TWS9884 on 12/8/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

I've been to hockey arenas all over North America. I skate at an outdoor rink in Northern Ohio, so I know about being cold when I'm on the ice. But nothing prepared me for the temperature inside the Bank Atlantic Center for Monday's Panthers v. Oilers game. I wore a long sleeve t-shirt, pretty much my standard fare when going to indoor hockey events. It wasn't nearly enough. It's really a shame. Seemed like a nice arena and the game was thrilling, decided by a shootout. But when I remember this event, the only thing I will remember is the shivering.

The game was great!! The seats were nice and since they were only 75 cents, we were able to spend more in Pantherland.

  • So much ACTION!!

by Hotsauces on 12/3/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

The Panthers were really playing hard tonight. It was fun to see Anderson back in net and glad he was not seriously hurt in the accident. Weiss was on fire and really showed what he is made of. Frolik is always great to watch and is becoming a star in his own right. Can't wait for Stillman and Booth to be back on the ice again so this team can really go for the wins! Vokoun has been playing very well and seems happier to be here than before. Ballard bounced back from his accidental strike to Vokoun that left him looking very depressed. He obviously regretted his action but was able to come back and support the team like he should and helped deliver the win tonight. Good going, Boys!!! Keep up the good work

  • The Best

by Lunge on 12/3/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

This Game was the Best I ever watched in person... It had everything from a Hat Trick, team down by 2 goals with one minute left and they tie the game, A Shootout (10 Players), A goalie knocked out for 5 minutes, fight galore... What else can I say. OoooH, did i mention one player with 4 goals (weis).

  • clemenson & Weiss

by CRUSADERS on 12/3/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Weiss hat trick and winning the game in shoot out. Clemenson shutting out the Avalanche in shoot-out.

  • EXCITING MATCH

by Millar on 12/3/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT THE GAME LAST NIGHT. WEISS'S HAT TRICK AND THE TEAM'S TENACITY IN THE SHOOTOUT MADE THE GAME A REAL TREAT

  • by Anonymous on 12/2/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

club level is awesome, great arena, free parking!!!

  • Early Lead Evaporated!

by Fredric on 11/29/09BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I enjoyed the game although we had seats in the upper bowl. Next time we'll probably try to get closer to the action. With regard to the game, the Panthers need to improve on their power plays. I don't think they need the fighter they brought in( # 33). You can count on him for more penalties even though he probably causes the other team to have a player wind up in the penalty box as well.

  • TML Won!!!
