Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

We had great seats, great prices, and the $5 beer Thirsty Thursdays was a great perk!! I like BB&T arena a little far out but worth the drive once there. I'll be back to BB&T for future sporting events as well as concerts

  • Wish the Pens had played better

by Let’s Go Pens! on 2/10/19BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

Disappointed the Pens suffered an OTL but nice evening at the rink. Two minor complaints, both related to parking: 1) entrances to lots were poorly marked and 2) Panthers website said Club Lexus tickets included valet parking, which was not in evidence. Otherwise, arena was nice, food was good, staff was helpful.

  • Amazing

We enjoy a lot the game. It was our first experience. We are from Uruguay. In our small we have never seen ice in our lives. For that reason we enjoy double. Vamo arriba la celeste.

  • Amazing game! Great Service! Great seats!

by HelloKelly on 2/5/19BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

I purchased these tickets as a Christmas gift for my father as a family outting with him, my mother, and myself. We had such a perfect evening. The arena is always super clean and tidy. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Going through security and the gate was a breeze. The Corona Beach House is the best way to go! They offer delicious food selections and a great bar to pair with. We wined and dined the night away for sure.

  • Panthers

by Jacob on 1/9/19BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

The Panthers where amazing but the experience not so much the thrill of a hockey game should be there with the loud music to screaming of when the other team scores but sadly I did not get to witness this while I was at this arena.

Arena excellent, game fun. Food kept me from giving a “5”. Food rather poor frankly.

  • Flyers at Panthers

  • Great game. Terrible entertainment

by EliyahuM on 10/17/18BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

The Panthers game was a good one but they showed the same 10 fans on the board the ENTIRE game. No fun memes or videos or games between plays. Super boring.

  • Expected more

by Hockeyloverfromsweden on 10/14/18BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

NHL hockey is always good and this game was no exception. But I’ve been to several NHL games in different cities and i must say that i’m a little disappointed about the things outside the actual game. Home opening game but half empty arena and the introduction was pretty much the same as a mid season game. The arena is very nice though, it’s a lot of space, short lines and good parking.
