FLEETWOOD MAC IN CONCERT:
The Rumours are true: Fleetwood Mac will be joined by Christine McVie for their 2014 world tour, and the band is just as excited about it as their fans. McVie left the band for personal reasons back in 1998, making the Mac's subsequent touring somewhat of a bittersweet experience for concertgoers. Bittersweet no more, however — fans lucky enough to score a ticket to Fleetwood Mac's 2014 On With the Show tour will get to experience McVie classics like "Everywhere" and "Little Lies" alongside Fleetwood Mac staples like "Dreams" and "Rhiannon," marking the first time in nearly 20 years the band's classic lineup has toured together.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 by Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. After moderate success as a no-frills blues band in the late '60s, the group underwent a turbulent period marked by lineup changes and lawsuits in the early '70s. With the additions of Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks by 1975, the band entered their most successful period, riding to both critical and commercial acclaim with a string of No. 1 albums including Rumours (1977) and Mirage (1982). The group's chemistry both in and out of the studio resulted in some of the era's most enduring hits, and the continued popularity of songs like "Dreams," "Gypsy," and "Sara," have made them one of the top-selling acts of all time. Following Christine McVie's departure in 1998, the band continued to tour with a scaled-down lineup, thrilling fans in 2014 with the announcement of McVie's return for their On With the Show tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"This was the best concert that I have seen in years. They can still rock the house. Stevie Nicks still has a fantastic voice. Lindsey's guitar playing was out of this world."
"Stevie hasn't sounded this flawless in almost 20 years. Just absolutely awesome. GREAT energy by everybody in the band. The chemistry was excellent and I think the band had as good of a time as the audience."
"Extremely enjoyable----the band is absolutely PROFESSIONAL---onstage for 2 1/2+ hours and appearing to enjoy every minute. Their sound is magnificent----unbelievable for 40 years in the business!!"

We really enjoyed this Fleetwood Mac concert as did the couple that came with us. We went to the Concert Club at the United Center first and had cocktails and appetizers. Then we had dinner using the many concessions at the UC. Our seats were fabulous. The concert brought back many great memories!
One of the best shows ever! The Fleetwood Mac band was amazing. They rocked better then any young group! The crowd was amazing and the venue was too!
This concert was grand! Absolutely loved seeing this timeless band!
I have to say the first hour the sound was horrid. The songs were echoing and the music was louder then the singing. Fortunately I knew most of the songs so I could figure out what was said. For the most part I found the show boring because I had to pay such attention. Couldn't understand a thing that was said from any of the people, The last hour and some the sound was perfect understood everything clearly. Sang along and had a fabulous time. They did a tribute to Tom Petty singing Freefalling. Well done Stevie Nicks. They did that and two other songs as an encore.
I took my 12 year-old daughter to her first indoor, major concert to see the Mac. She had performed their songs at School of Rock so was very excited to see them live. We took advantage of the Concert Club at the UC before the show. I had not been there yet and we really enjoyed it. Overall the concert was very good. Neil Finn and Mike Campbell are good replacements for Lindsey Buckingham, but it would have been even better if he was there. One disappointment (although not a surprise I guess) is that Stevie Nicks can no longer hit the high notes. My daughter gave me a smirk when she went an octave lower on Rhiannon, a song my daughter sang. Venue was great, staff friendly and a great crowd.
Very good night with Fleetwood mac they played for the whole 3 hours amazing show!!!!
They were better 40 years ago when I saw them. Disappointed because it was advertised that all the original 5 members were going to be playing. Should of spent the money on Elton John tickets who plays tonight.
5 Stars - Amazing Show! I want whatever Mick Fleetwood is eating, drinking, and/or smoking. He played the drums like he was 22 years old! Amazing drum duel during the show! He is in amazing shape!
I've been going to a lot of concerts lately and I want to say this was the best by far. Fleetwood Mac did not disappoint!!! They played long and hard. The tribute to Tom Petty during the encore was EPIC! The videos in the background were excellent too! I could rave more but just want to say if you can make it to one of their concerts....Do it!!!
Fleetwood Mac sounded well rehearsed and they put on a good show. I honestly thought they could have cut out about 1/2 hour from the show where they played some less popular songs. But, their hits sounded great, and it was awesome to hear them perform those songs in person. They put on a great performance and they thanked the audience up and down for their support. They really wanted to give a good show to the fans it seemed.
It wad an awesome concert. All of the band members are amazingly talented and accomplished. Either Stevie or Mick Fleetwood stole the show. The stage set up was amazing and beautiful! The only problem I encountered was the lack of an intermission. Most people didn’t want to miss anything to leave their seats. I would, and have, recommended this to a friend.
great show. Will attend another show, stevie nick voice
Was good to see Fleetwood Mac. Loved Neil Finn and the band.
Awesome show. Great screen behind band. Wish Stevie would have done some of her solo songs but I’m sure that there are some laws keeping her from not. Without Stevie the band would’ve never have made it
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this performance (the third show on this tour). Say what you will about Lindsey Buckingham not being a part of the band . . . after the first 3 songs you will realize that Neil Finn holds his own and is a wonderful musician/performer. We got over any disappointment about missing Lindsey and were blown away by how tight and rocking the band was. Mike Campbell was a great choice for guitarist as well and they were able to dig back deep into the Peter Green era for a few inspired tunes. There is a wealth of talent in Fleetwood Mac and we were so glad to be able to see them while they are still around!
Stevie Nick is magnificent! Mic Fleetwood is insane! Great night.
Definitely recommend this concert! Flawless productions of old favorites plus great collaborations with the new tour members. Very interactive with the audience.
Fleetwood Mac still puts on a very well structured and thoroughly entertaining show! The loss of Lindsey Buckingham is well addressed by Neil Finn and Mike Campbell. Particularly liked the tribute to Tom Petty during their show on Monday night.
Awesome show, good venue but floor seating is hopeless and expensive
