The show was awesome. Small venue so you could get close enough to stage to see everything.

FITZ AND THE TANTRUMS IN CONCERT:
Retro indie-pop group Fitz and the Tantrums are keeping the Motown Sound alive and well with their modern take on classic soul and funk. Combining call-and-response vocals, backbeat tambourines, and vintage-inspired instrumentation, the band's electric live shows are equal parts shimmy and shake, inspiring nonstop dance parties as fans sing along to infectious pop masterpieces like "MoneyGrabber" and "Out of My League." Riding high on the success of their sophomore album More than Just a Dream, Fitz and the Tantrums are set to treat fans to another round of unforgettable shows on tour in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Michael Fitzpatrick formed LA-based Fitz and the Tantrums in 2008 after purchasing a Conn electronic organ -- an instrument that would prove vital in the development of the band's retro sound. The group performed their first show just one week after their first rehearsal, underscoring an effortless chemistry that was readily apparent on their 2009 debut EP Songs for a Breakup, Vol. 1. After touring with Maroon 5 and performing at SXSW, the band signed with Dangerbird Records for their 2010 debut LP Pickin' Up the Pieces. The album landed at No. 1 on the Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart, establishing the group as one of the most promising rising talents in indie-pop and paving the way for 2013 sophomore effort More than Just a Dream — a Top 40 hit on the Billboard 200.

FATT were excellent!
by Shane0317 on 5/14/14The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5I have been to numerous concerts, different genres of music, and shows by Fitz and Tantrums are by far the most fun you can have. High energy, music/sound was excellent at The Norva, everyone was involved cheering, dancing, showing the love. They interact very well with the crowd and grateful of the support. PIck up their records, and go to a show. For twenty dollar tickets, that show was very high in value. Thanks FATT! Keep it up, and can't wait to see you back in VA or NC! Opening band - Night Terrors of 1927 were good, show lots of promise.

by CNote97 on 5/14/14The Norva - NorfolkRating: 4 out of 5Overall, a good concert with a great crowd. Obviously, a lot of people were fans of the band and they seemed to feed off the tremendous energy in the NorVa. I wasn't very familiar with them, but the group had tons of energy and revved up the crowd.

Fitz and Noellemazing!
by waldo10 on 5/12/14Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5What energy...!! Michael and Noelle just brought it ! James King on the sax was awesome. The Penns Peak venue had great acoustics and a well behaved crowd. The concert was short, 1 1/2 hours but, NO disappointment here...because this band works their tails off to entertain their fans. This was one of my top five ever concerts!

Fitz and Tantrums.....Best live band on tour now!!
by Prozac on 5/12/14Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5I've been going to concerts since I was 16 yrs. old. Now 38 yrs old I thought no band could blow me away during a live show. I've heard that Fitz and the Tantrums were great live but the band even exceeded my highest expectations. I left the show drenched in sweat and the lead singers both were slain drenched in sweat from performing an entertaining and great sounding show. I can say after all of these years that this was one of my favorite live shows and the band is at its best when on stage. They go all out...I just appreciate this band and hope many fans get to see them on this tour. Ages ranged from the older crowd...middle aged to teens. Do yourself a favor and see Fitz and the Tantrums.
Another fantastic show!
by Nigel930 on 5/12/14Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5We have seen Fitz & the Tantrums several times now & every show is awesome. We traveled about 2 hours this time to see them & it is definitely worth it. They are one of the bands that I can never get tired of seeing. If you have never seen them...check it out , you will be glad you did.

High Energy and Amazing
by Jennelle4 on 4/11/14Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5A few years ago, I was blessed to see Fitz and the Tantrums in a small bar in Santa Barbara. They were amazing then and even better now! It was well worth the hours and hours of standing in line and being pushed in the pit by teenagers. Fitz and the Tantrums was the BEST concert I have ever been to. Noel is the hottest thing to ever walk on this planet and Fitz is so dreamy, I melt every time I hear his voice. Their new album is incredible. To experience it first hand, only a few feet away from the stage, cannot be paralleled. I will follow Fitz and the Tantrums anywhere they go and look forward to their next local concert.
Another fun night at the Palladium
by Bob9303 on 4/8/14Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5Fitz & the Tantrums started off a little slow but got the night rocking about midway through their set. Great opening set by the Bad Suns. The Palladium is really a great venue to see a concert.

by JoFan62 on 4/8/14Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5Great vibe of energy for Fitz & the Tantrums! They sang with bursting energy all night long! He kept thanking his fans & followers who supported him from the beginning, his first gig was right across the street in Hollywood ! And here he was blowing things up to a sold out crowd! PERFECT NIGHT!!!
