Filter has in no way diminished in performance!!!

by BIGwurm on 8/20/11The Basement - Columbus

I was totally blown away by Filters performance. Being a rocker of the mid 90's, I've seen alot of bands seem to simmer down these days. Richard Patrick still belted out the lyrics with pure energy and aggression. The pictures I've included should say it all.

    Filter was off the hook!

by idoter on 8/20/11The Basement - Columbus

I've seen filter several yrs ago and they left a lot to be desired. This time around though, they were awesome! Super small venue and very intimate performance. Hit a few off of short bus which was awesome. Lead singer was in rare form. Surfin the crowd while singing several time. A show I will never forget. Thank you Filter! And Saliva was no slouch H Yeah!

Great double bill in a small hall!

by cntrysquire on 8/20/11The Basement - Columbus

It was a treat to see two great bands on one bill and at an intimate venue to boot. Although I'm a huge fan of both bands Saliva clearly stole the show and should have had top billing..(my opinion).....My advise to anyone within 100 miles of this double bill should go...It is worth the drive.."Click Click Boom!!!"

A great way to spend a Tuesday night!

by Cinthedirt on 8/8/11City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

All four bands were really good, but I thought Saliva stole the show. Great sound, great rapport with the audience. The crowd was small but all the bands gave it 120% and made us feel great.

by johnyrobz on 8/4/11City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

saliva and filter together was a good show. i think saliva came off a little better than filter. filter seemed a bit rushed. i thought the show ran a little late. overall, a good time though.

    4 1/2 {of 5} Stars!

by Headbanger4Ever on 6/17/11The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

The only down-size: they had issues with acoustics... the pluses: outside of 2 irritating drunks, the crowd was better behaved than almost any concert that i've been to. They put on a good show {despite sub-par sound} and they were EXTREMELY friendly & down-to-Earth. They even signed things & met the fans afterward. Excellent memories, Excellent show!

Richard Patrick is the greatest guy!

by Mike3456 on 6/14/11The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

So loud! Loved it. Great venue. Very close to band. Richard Patrick is SO GREAT TO HIS FANS. HE SIGNED MY TICKET STUB AND LET MY GIRLFRIEND AND I TAKE A PICTURE WITH HIM AFTER THE SHOW. They sounded amazing and Phil Buckman and Richard Patrick were so kind for talking with the fans. Great venue and the people who work at The Stone Pony were so friendly. Beautiful night with such and amazing band. Love you Rich and the rest of Filter. See them and buy their music. You will not be disappointed!

Good Show But the Set List was a Little Short

by FilterFanFromJersey on 6/13/11The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

Filter puts on a really good live show and I would recommend them to anyone who likes this type of music. I saw them at the Bowery Ballroom last year and they rocked that place. My head's still ringing. This time around they had a few technical difficulties in the beginning of the show which I think cut into their set list. They only played for about 1:20 minutes. That's too short of a show. They still did a great job even with all the mechanical difficulties. My only gripe with the set list was when they played Welcome to the Fold. They played the short version of that song even though the extended version is so much better. I would have liked to have seen that song drawn out. That's a 8-9 minute tune they cut it down to 3-4 minutes. I was bummed about that. All in all, I will definately be seeing Filter again when they come to town.

    Filter rocks Jersey!

by Philthy1 on 6/13/11The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

Filter rocked Jersey at the classic Stone Pony! Richard Patrick and the boys performed a high energy show and had the crowd pumped. There were songs from every CD, even three from the seminal Short Bus as well as three from the new disc Trouble With Angels. Richard was very personable and engaging and immediately (straight from stage to signing table, no diva waiting time) after the show, met fans and signed autographs for a very long line. Great show at the very intimate venue Stone Pony

    Nice Shot, Filter!

by artbyme on 2/7/11Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

Although, they were on tour to promote "The Trouble With Angels" release, almost all of the songs they played were from their best of "The Very Best Things". No, complaints though. It was really nice hearing and singing to all of their big hits. Richard Patrick was terrific and the new band members were good enough to get the job done. The best of them being the drummer, Mika Fineo, who has been in the band the longest. The set lasted about an hour and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. The coolest part was the band hanging out downstairs to meet their fans. A great night all around.

    I was amazed!

    by Gunther69 on 11/15/10Station 4 - Saint Paul

This show was truly amazing. These guys rock! I had seen them at Quest and Roy Wilkins years ago and this was by far the best show. The venue was tiny but the fans were totally into the music and the energy was great!

He'll of a show! Great set list, and richard's voice still burns! They did a meet and greet after the show and signed our discs and tickets. Even took pics. Very fan-friendly.

I liked the smaller venue. I felt really connected with the band. The sound was great, not too loud. A highlight of the night was Filter stuck around to sign autographs & meet their fans. Very personable & friendly guys. What a fun night!

The show was excellent. Good voice, great band, and exceptional playing. I hope this band comes back to Chicago at a larger venue.
