    Filter was absolutely incredible!

by richardfan on 11/8/10Cubby Bear - Chicago

I have loved Filter since they first graced my ears back in the mid 90's. Richard is a genius and I hope him and his band continue to make music for a long long time. The venue was great, sound quality amazing. Very intimate. I lost my mind and rocked out to the point of exhaustion and dripping sweat. Their gratitude for their fans was so touching and compelling. They stayed after to take time to speak to every fan and I got my picture with Richard along with an autographed album. I will go see them every time they come to visit. Keep up the great work...I'm a fan forever. Middle Class Rut was fantastic as well. I had never heard of them before but was so impressed! I bought their album as well. The entire show was buzzing with awesome energy.

    Filter is back!

by filterfemale on 8/27/10Roxy Theatre - Hollywood

I think this version of Filter rocks has hard as the earlier versions of Filter. Richard put together an amazing group of players. They played hard. Richards vocals were in top form. Great song selection. Something from every Filter album and some . Although I do like the intimacy of smaller venues, I would like to see them in a larger venue. I'm hoping they add on more California dates. I'll drive the distance to see them again.

    Filter... mmmm.

by chaosTheorie on 8/23/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

this show was crazy awesome. the opening acts were... meh. and actually made me a little nervous about the main show. BUT, Richard Patrick and Filter totally rocked the house and made me happy. Bowery Ballroom is an interesting venue - small enough for an intimate glimpse and large enough to feel like you're at a concert...

    Filter Rocked The Bowery Ballroom

by FilterFanFromJersey on 8/23/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

Filter rocked the Bowery Ballroom on August 21. This is a great setting to see a show. I highly recommend seeing them live. They have great energy level. I think my head is still ringing. The set list was perfect. They played a bunch of tunes from Title of Record mixed with a few songs from Short Bus, Amalgamut and the new album. I will definitely see them again.

    Big Fan Bad Show

by Neutral11teen on 8/23/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

I have been a fan of Filter since Shortbus and never had the opportunity to see them before and I have to say, I wish i didn't! At first I thought I was setting the bar to high, but after watching the crowds similar reaction I knew it wasn't in my head. The sound was bad, Patrick changed the songs around so much beyond recognition, and a set list full of b-sides. I love to hear songs that are unexpected on a play list, but..well...I didn't dig it! Just my opinion and will give 'em another chance.

    awesome show

by xana on 8/22/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

Filter performance was awesome. I did not like the fact that they started playing at 11:30pm, and I think Killcode is a good band but they are to loud for the small venue.

    Unexpected rad time

by TAPROOTfan on 8/22/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

I don't even know who Filter is. I only went to this show because my friends, Me Talk Pretty, were the opening band. I stuck around the whole night to help with the merch table and ended up unintentionally catching Filter's set. Mika Fineo is one of the SICKEST drummers I've seen live in a long time. I have a lot of respect for Filter now. I got a chance to be with them at the merch table after their set and they seem like really down-to-Earth people.

    Filter are in top form!

by Silverwing117 on 8/22/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

With a carefully crafted setlist, a band that faithfully played each song perfectly, combined with Richard Patrick's signature voice, this was one show that is definitely one of the all-time greatest that I've been to. Filter continue to sound top notch and play at an upper echelon level! I can't wait to see them again!

    Stellar Show

by AlchemyX on 8/22/10Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

Once again Mr. Patrick and band never disappoint and the energy was through the roof. Playing a wide variety set from just about every album you always got the impression that these guys are so into what they do -the kind of performance most bands strain to emulate .I have to say that since the Bowery Ballroom is an intimate concert venue (with a long list of epic performances) they should have had a much better engineer for the live sound. There were points where each band member stressed the lack of continuity with the stage volume- and being in the crowd i was fighting at points to seperate the instruments. With that said the individual sounds when it finally came together was amazing -I would have to say that the guitar sound was incredible-(not sure if it was the Mesa Boogie triple rectifiers pushing the live sound from the stage). If you can catch these guys it is an amazing night well worth the ticket price -which is alot to say these days.

    Filter created good energy

by INCA on 8/18/09Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe Bay

What a night, what a show, Zooropa it's all over. Friday night's Bayfest Kaneohe was truly awesome. The right mix of crowd energy, excellent audo from the stage, enthusiasm from the band made this an unforgettable night. The interaction between lead singer Richard Patrick and the crowd was great. He even borrowed a fan's digital camera, took it on stage and proceeded to photograph his bandmates. Then he returned it o the fan after taking a snapshot with them while leaning againts the barrier facing the stage. The fight in the crowd couldn't dampen the spirit of the night. A really memorable show. Great tunes. Just ace.

    Filter has aloha spirit

by javalava on 8/15/09Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe Bay

Filter got on stage, and Richard Patrick continuously praised the crowd, saying how awesome we were, and how he loves playing for audiences like us. To coin the old term, he 'rocked the house'! Their music is totally amazing live, one can feel the energy of dark honesty in the lyrics of their songs.
