This was the first time any of us had ever been to a PGA Tour event and it was great. Shuttle from the parking was very convenient and quick. The grounds access perfect to allow us to see so much of the course. The player access was an amazing expression for my daughter to get autographs and high fives from the top playin the world.
The course was beautiful, plenty of covered bleachers at select holes, clean modern portable restrooms, good food, and friendly helpful volunteers. We had tickets on our 2nd day in the Michelin Ultra Club above the 11th hole. It had good food, bar, restrooms and great view! We bought parking- charter buses picked us up and dropped at the entrance to the course- very convenient and well worth $20! Two fun days of PGA golf!
I really enjoyed the Southwind Course and Golfers who played there, It was a very good challenge for the Golfers and showed their great overall ability. Several of the Golfers were very open and took the time to interact with the fans. Will Zalatoris was the first Golfer to autograph the pin flag of my friend's son, The fact that he had a great day Friday and went on to win the tournament was special for him and his team and maybe some karma. Ricky Fowler was having a great day Saturday and then had a nine on the 18th hole to pretty much cost him any change of advancing in the FedEx Cup playoffs, After this personal disappointment he still took the time to sign autographs for all that wanted it. Very classy act by him
I tried to transfer a ticket to the FedEx St Jude Championship 3 times to a friend and the link was far too complicated to complete. I had to get staff at the tournament office involved to complete the transaction. UNACCEPTABLE. Ken weatherford, 42 year tournament volunteer with the tournament. A transfer should be 2 steps, I transfer, he accepts. My 16 year old grandson, tech savvy, even had trouble getting his ticket from me.
Venue was magnificent and in excellent shape. The only issue is the crazy expensive prices on everything! Food, drinks, merchandise all seemed to be up to 50 percent higher than it should’ve been. I’ll watch on tv next time.
Worked as volunteer at this tournament for the wonderful cause of St Jude. Very well done! Great tournament!
Followed Finau and Harmon on Sunday it was absolutely a wonderful experience my wife and I walked the entire 18 with them. It did, however make me realize why I bought a golf cart 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This tournament was overpriced again. The field is nowhere near as good as last year. The ticket people and staff were great but the value of this event is down the drain. So is the PGA.
Had a great time at the first PGA stop of the 2022 Fed Ex Cup Playoff Series. The TPC-Southwind golf course was in immaculate condition and the top 120 golfers in the world went head-to-head to compete for the top prize of $2.7M. It took a 3-hole playoff to decide the winner this year!
Everything was so clean, organized and overall a very pleasant experience. All of the employees and volunteers were super nice and helpful. I was impressed with how the greeters and ticket takers/entrance personnel were so patient during the entrance and still smiling at the end of the day as we exited. They genuinely seemed to be happy to be there doing their job. That means so much!
Had a great experience, saw a lot of great golf. I was under the impression there would be water stations, never saw any and people I asked didn’t know anything about it. Had to buy water which was very expensive, and the days where hot.
This years St Jude Classic was absolutely a great experience. The people were so nice and everything you needed was provided for you. It had great weather, great players, and great crowds. It’s simply the best place for a pro tournament!!!
I've attended (2) other Memphis, Fed Ex Golf tourneys, and this one by far was the best. To start, parking directions, parking, bus transit to the golf course was much improved from my last visit. Quick, efficient, large buses. Porta Potty's were very clean, and food and drink was very accessible. They also offered a variety of foods, including Memphis famous BBQ. Top players in the world, easy walking, yet, if you want to hang out on a hole and watch them come to you, there are plenty of good options throughout the course. Well done.
Overall good experience with some flaws. Michelob Ultra Club definitely not worth the money. They oversold seating so that some patrons did not have seating even though tickets indicated otherwise. Very poor. Signage could be improved to help navigate exit to proper parking lot.
GPS followed the address on the ticket to take me to the venue. Mobile app let me get in the gate. As a matter of fact, a check mark came up in the app as soon as I got on campus. All the attendant’s had to do was check for the green check mark.
Everything was great. Beer was too expensive but all good.
Overall outstanding experience. The access you get with ground pass tickets was awesome for the price of the ticket.
Everything was so much mkre expensive this year and there was much less starpower. The parking fee is highway robbery, you pay 30 dollars to be bussed across a parking lot. Not near as many people this year. Portable bathroom air-conditioning was down by Saturday and it was hell trying to use them. Did I mention a can of beer is 12.50?

This is a world class event showcasing the top 125 golfers in the world while raising money to fight childhood cancer. TPC Southwind is a beautiful course, and the 1200+ volunteers do a fabulous job. Memphis at its best!
