Small venue. Friendly people and staff, band was AMAZING!! Great energy from them and the crowd, sound was great, clean. FF5 was just fantastic. So funny, so silly, lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots of DANCING!!!!! Highly recommend!
Good show. however The Newport opened the doors 45 minutes late. Then when we went in we stood there for another 45 minutes, before the show started.
I was blow away by how fantastic this concert was!! If that's the last concert I ever go to, I'm happy. The opening acts were fantastic! I bought merch from all of them.
Family Force 5 WAS THE BEST<3 Their stage presence was amazing and i WILL come back next year!

I brought my youth group to this event and was disappointed that there was not more of a focus on Christ in the concert. It would have been cool to see some of the artists talking about their faith or sharing scripture. The Hawk Nelson part of the concert was really enjoyable. The other two bands were good, but not really my favorite type of music. Overall I think we all had fun, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting out of the event.
Family Force 5 gets my vote for the band with the most heart. They never put on a bad show. They played a variety of music from all their albums including some amplified Christmas songs. They even threw out some presents for the audience. Love these guys!!!
Best concert I've ever been to. They sound even better live, and really put on an amazing show. I want to see them every time they come to Columbus.
DEFINITELY A FAMILY EVENT. BUT GREAT NONETHELESS. IM A 21 YR OLD & WENT WITH MY BF AND HIS BROTHER. THEY BOTH LIKED IT TOO. DONT PLAN ON BEING ONE OF MANY PEOPLE DRINKING THERE. WE WERE THE ONLY THREE I SAW.
The show was fantastic! I really enjoyed Hawk Nelson. I didn't even really know who they were till the show. Loved their music. Family Force 5 was obviously amazing! I will say I did not like the pictures of the dogs at the very end. They were really creepy and most of the audience was confused why were seeing them.
First off, I'm not a kid. 40something mama here whose kids introduced her to the music of Family Force 5. Since 2007, we've seen the band 9 times so far. Simply one of the best live bands out there and not to be missed if you like to rock out and dance. Their stage presence is phenomenal and their sound man extraordinaire, affectionately nicknamed Xanadu, is always onstage beforehand making sure every instrument is set up and ready to sound amazing for each and every show. In fact, if I have one criticism, it's that it takes him so darned long to get everything sounding perfect! But it's worth it! I don't go out of my way to see bands but this band, I make an except for. They never disappoint! And the band is not about one or two members--they're all just amazing on stage. I suggest you listen to the songs a lot before you see them and learn all the words because you WILL want to sing and dance along with the rest of us FF5 fans!
Only got to see some of hawk nelson, and family force 5 never went on due to weather, no refunds no sorry. bad time.
From the moment they stepped on stage it was a party! I adored every moment of the show. What a show they put on! Non-stop awesome and their own explosive, party anthem style of music created an amazing and exciting atmosphere. I loved it! I can't wait to see them at Warped Tour!
We went for my daughter and she had a great time. She listens to the band a lot and was very happy to see them in person. Also, it was great that the band came out after the show and talked to the fans. She had her picture taken with each member.
My husband and I took our 14 year old to see this, even though all of us are HUGE fans! We got the VIP package to meet the band ahead of time and listen to an acoustical set - they were friendly, funny, and HUGELY talented! When they came onstage for the main show they were FULL of passion and energy and all of us had an INCREDIBLE time!! (Even though we were all sore from dancing and yelling and just being a part of the whole experience) GREAT band - we hope they come our way more often!!!
Family Force 5 made up for the crap that Stereo Skyline put on.
Since Forever kicked it off with their high energy pop. Next was Swimming with Dolphins. I wasn't sure what to expect when i saw 3 keyboards and a drum kit set up on the stage, but they were amazing. Stereo Skyline was next, and i was all set to be disappointed when it was just Kevin with an accoustic guitar and Rob on drums; i should never have doubted them, their set was great. Family Force 5 was kind of a disappointment to me. Not to suggest they weren't good, but totally not my kind of music. it makes you wonder who puts these tours together when you can love all the openers but not the headliner because they're from a completely different genre.
The weather kept us from seeing Family Force 5 and part of Hawk Nelson. However, Hawk Nelson and Lacrea did a fabulous job.
Lecrae was great. Hawk Nelson did 5 songs and then we had to evacuate. We were sent back, FF5 was about to be introduced and we were evacuated again for another 15 minutes. Then they announced it was cancelled. The Rangers game and concert continued, but not us. We wasted 6 hours of driving and lots of money to get in, etc. and did not even get a refund. I had a front row seat which I doubt I'll ever see again. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
We have seen Family Force 5 in concert six times and were so very excited to be seeing them at Six Flags! The weather did not cooperate, and it was rained out. My daughter was devastated, as well as the other 15 kids in our youth group. This is nothing against the band-they are great! I just kept getting an email to review so here it is. My advice to everyone is: go see Family Force 5 every chance you get. They put on a great show and they are really nice to their fans. :)
