About

Fall Out Boy are one of the most successful pop punk bands of the last few decades. They’ve released four No. 1 albums and 10 Top 40 singles while working alongside top artists such as JAY-Z, Taylor Swift, Elton John, Wiz Khalifa, John Mayer, Demi Lovato and RM of BTS. The quartet of guitarist and vocalist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley rose from the emo scene outside of Chicago and released their debut album Take This to Your Grave in 2003. Fall Out Boy made their major label debut with 2005’s From Under the Cork Tree, which featured the band’s first two Hot 100 singles, “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down” and “Dance, Dance,” and led to the band’s first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2006. The group’s 2007 follow-up Infinity on High debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 behind singles like “This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race,” which reached a career-best No. 2 on the Hot 100, and “Thnks fr th Mmrs.” After 2008’s Folie à Deux, Fall Out Boy went on hiatus, but made an emphatic return with three back-to-back No.1 debuts in 2013’s Save Rock and Roll, 2015’s American Beauty/American Psycho, and 2018’s Mania. In 2023, Fall Out Boy released their eighth full-length effort So Much (for) Stardust, which became the band’s seventh consecutive Top 10 album.

    GREAT SHOW

by lj922m on 7/11/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

I just loved the concert with Fall Out Boy! There were awesome warm-up bands including Hey Monday! The show kept rolling and it was high energy! It was raining at first, then finally the rain stopped and we could take off our rain coats and enjoy the music. The songs were great, I have seen better light shows.

Fall Out Boy rocked my face off!!!

by SeaDoo21 on 7/11/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

The venue was nice because it was outside. There was lots of room and the hill made it easy to get a good view. The sound was great as well. The line-up before FOB was pretty good. I was there mainly to see them and one other band before them. They did an awesome job performing! They really know what they are doing. Their set list ranged from early to new stuff. Just a fabulous time!

    As a band - Great

    by hockeyman4 on 7/11/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

The evening was very long. The establishment was roomy but not very well ventilated. Most importantly, there was too many warm up bands/groups. I believe there was 4 and maybe a fifth.

    Come Back Boy

    by Allz on 7/11/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

This show exceeded my expections in so many ways. I've been to many disapointing shows in the past, when the band sucked live, and I hoped that Fall Out Boy wouldn't fall into that category. But Fall Out Boy was energetic and they sounded amazing, they really knew how to work a room.

Just like any other band, just happens to be FOB

by jroque on 7/11/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

When I first saw fall out boy many years ago at what now is lifestyle community pavilion it was an awesome show. Unfortunately the shows have been diluted with the radio songs they know alot of people want to hear. I love every album, but nothing compares to that first concert. I think mega bands should have polls online where their fans can vote, maybe even through their fan wesbite, to get a feel of what the real fans want to hear.

    Fall Out Boy was amazing!

    by ArianeRae on 7/11/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

This is going to be real short, but..Fall Out Boy and Cobra Starship were amazing! But I can't say the same for the other bands...I would have rather had all of my teeth drilled out, it would have been alot less annoying and painful. .. Believe it or not, Metro Station sucks even worse live then they did to begin with.

    Awesome Performers!

    by Lizziq on 7/11/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

The night was filled with awesome performers. All the bands were amazing. They were all very interactive with the audience. When the lead singer of All TIme Low was sick they were still very professional and kept on playing. The songs were great and it is always awesome to hear great music!! It was also very crazy and there were times I thought I was going to be trampled on.

    fob not to miss

by hanban on 7/11/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

the show was very entertaining. I wish the crowd had been more into it but no one was really into it. All time low was also amazing. The other bands were all very good too. FOB was actually a little dissappointing they took alot of time in between songs and it was sort of frustrating but all in all they put on a good show.

    Fall Out Boy was OK

by SurferGrrl on 7/11/09Lifestyle Communities Pavilion - Columbus

Okay...WAAAAY too many opening acts! There were what, five?? Maybe if they just had, say, Hey Monday and Metro Station, it'd be better. When FOB FINALLY came out, I was pumped! The music was great (some artists some TERRIBLE live, but they rocked!) and the weather didn't ruin it!

Fall Out Boy was good but too long

    by yasmine on 7/11/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

I think that the opening bands for Fall Out Boy were incredible. They were over half the reason I went. Don't forget, I also like Fall Out Boy. They are fantastic. They preformed amazingly, however, they played for nearly 2 hours. I'm not a fan of their new stuff, and it was just too long. I ended up leaving the area they were playing in before they finished. All in all, they have great stage presence, great old songs, and preformed A LOT better than I thought they would from videos. Recommended definitely.
