Games We Play on Tour
The early 2000s pop-punk scene is alive and well as proven by the charismatic artist Emmyn Calleiro a.k.a. Games We Play. Known for his catchy lyrics, multi-instrumental skill and excellent voice, Games We Play has amassed notoriety through his viral online presence. His likability and positive attitude is felt throughout the crowd during his live shows, leading to a remarkable performance by an incredibly skilled musician. First releasing his five-song EP Senior Year in 2018, Games We Play continued to make music into the 2020s, with his single "Story of a Love Song" in 2021 and his EP Get a Job in 2022.
Games We Play Live in Concert
Born in Miami, and now based in Los Angeles, Games We Play has been involved with music his entire life. Inspired by bands like Blink-182, he learned how to play bass and drums in church while also honing his guitar and vocal abilities. After dropping out of 8th grade, Calleiro (with the help of his parents) began to completely focus on his musical career by relocating to Nashville. In 2021, he released his single "Deadbeat" which gained popularity on TikTok. This hit was soon followed by another single, "I Hope You're Happy," which went hyper-viral on TikTok amassing millions of views while landing on Spotify's Viral 50 playlist. The popularity of this song led Games We Play to sign with Fueled By Ramen/DCD2 records. Since his newly found fame, Calleiro has performed across North America and has continued to make online videos, which are regularly viewed by hundreds of thousands of people. With more than 350,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, 400,000 followers on TikTok and 9.5 million streams on his hit "I Hope You're Happy," Games We Play is at the forefront of the pop-punk resurgence.
Great show by Games We Play!! Opening act was amazing too!
Awesome show, great stage presence. This is the third tome I’ve seen him and love it every time
One of the best shows I have ever been to. Emmyn is the GOAT
Games we play was epic! Throughly enjoyed their show! Emmyn met the crowd out back after the show for a few songs and pictures and autographs. Really, a great guy. House Parties was good as well, and Zoe Ko reminded me a lot of Letters to Cleo!
This band is so talented! They know how to put on a show. If you ever get a chance to see them take it! You won’t regret it! The crowd interactions were great! Much love!
Let me just start by saying the first opener Zoe Ko is PHENOMENAL! I'm so excited to watch her career grow! Also House Parties totally gave me early 2000s Paramore vibes and I absolutely loved that! Now for the main event Games We Play holy moly! I would definitely go see them preform again! I absolutely love the fact that because they were having technical difficulties they preformed two of their acoustic songs outside in front of their tour band. I'm so glad I was able to experience that once in a life time situation.
Absolutely amazing performance! They connect with the audience and give it all their energy. I’m so happy I got to attend, it was one of the best concert experiences I’ve had. Loved it, and love them!
Games We Play is my absolute favorite band. The energy at every show I’ve been to is incredible. I love the crowd interaction and the music is great. Emmyn came out after the show and played 2 acoustic songs (due to some technical issues during the show) and then he stayed after that and met everybody. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I was a part of it.
My favorite opener for Fall Out Boy! Great stage presence and great sound that reminds me of music from the 2000s. Also they covered Mr Brightside at my show, which made me really happy.
First saw GWP kick off a feral All Time Low show in Ohio. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. They’re an absolute riot on stage. They could be singing ABBA songs and I’d still watch. Lucky for us, their music will remind you of all the early 2000s gems. I went back to see them in Indy a month later, got to meet them (and their awesome merch model WE <3 YOU ETHAN), and they were all so sweet. Can’t wait to see them again for the headliner this fall. Highly recommend attending, they may or may not be wearing pants.
