    Nothing but awesome!

by Hammer on 8/8/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

This was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. These guys are all fine musicians that really enjoy their music. My party of 4 all agreed that we could have sat there another hour to enjoy the music. We hated to see it end.

    Fabulous Thunderbirds

by Chris on 8/8/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Awesome performance by the Fabulous Thunderbirds! Kim Wilson left it all out there - what a showman! The band was incredible.

    Better than expected!!!

by Woohoo513 on 8/8/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

We absolutely loved the music and hearing their few hits! They are incredibly talented and we loved every single member of the band......they just don't need to each play an extended solo on every song. While they are talented and it was a good way to show off their skills, it just became tedious to have song-lengthening solos happening continuously. Other than that, they were amazing!

    Bad venue

by Adventure Boy on 8/4/21Birchmere - Alexandria

Seriously…this is not a rock concert venue. Cheap tables and chairs stacked from the front of the stage front to back and side to side… no standing area at all, no space to move or dance…drinks and food delivered only by servers to your table by a short-staffed group of servers. Wine and beer only with extremely limited selection. The band was decent and talented…gave it their best shot but come on. We left early.

Dinner and Fabulous Thunderbirds show at the Birchmere

by Harry on 8/4/21Birchmere - Alexandria

We were looking forward to seeing Kim Wilson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds after 15 years or so and they didn't disappoint. Kim is as fabulous as ever and has a great supporting cast. His famous marathon harmonica solo is as amazing as ever. We are so pleased to see the Birchmere back open with live shows. The food was excellent and the service was especially good, professional, informative and drinks filled up to the very top!

    The Fabulous Thunderbirds were unrememberable

by Rondelli on 4/16/14MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa - Lake Tahoe

I expected upbeat country rock but the song selections were slow, mostly blues and the band had no stage presence. I felt younger than what I was watching which is atypical!

    It's all about Kim

by IHeartKimWilson on 11/27/11Indian Ranch - Webster

Kim is a most amazing band leader, and a riveting solo performer! HIs hot young guitarists may change over time, but they are always great. The real reason to see the show is Kim. He's looking sharp and winning hearts, and sounds better than ever.

    What a Great Concert!

by AnniCorvette on 10/26/11Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

Are only complaint was that the time just flew by. It was a great concert and a great venue. The staff was so helpful and the room was comfortable. The band only played one set and wish it had been more but it was excellence all the way. There was a couple who couldn't sit in their assigned seats way up front. The attendant asked it there were volunteers to swap their seats and we did and enjoyed being closer to the stage.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson

by TVDinner on 10/24/11Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

Kim Wilson is the living master of the blues harmonica. Great soul singer and showman! The band is living proof that the blues legacy will live on with unbelievably talented, young players taking the genre to new heights. They were tight and all represented skill and mastery of their instruments.

    Fabulous they were

by Goosefamily on 10/24/11Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

What an outstanding show and wonderful venue as well. Kim on the harmonica brought down the house, at least on Friday night when we were there. A great showman and a great band. Kim has one healthy set of lungs. I will certainly get their newest album. Rock on, Geno

Kim's voice was awesome. He doesn't need studio enhancement to sound great.

Fabulous T-Birds still gettin' it done!

by Wienerhead on 10/24/11Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

Still a really fun band to hear and see live. Professional, tight, entertaining. Good selection of standards, oldies and some new licks. Great evening!

The band was good, only played for 1 hour, not really worth $40 ticket.

fab t birds, still on top

by slamrayyy on 9/25/11Indian Ranch - Webster

My favorit bands are Booker T and the M Gs and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. They are keeping the blues alive and having the blues evolve. This is the blues of today. great rhythm section, great guitarists and Kim Wilson, one of the greatest blues singers of all time and one of the greatest harp players of all time. [he's pretty much the only guy I hear people say could be on the same level as Little Walter] He gets the party goin and sings with such deep feeling, you could not speak english and still have a good idea what he is singing about. Big fun, the real deal, Ive seen them 10 times. My first time at Indian Ranch, great place, concert on a lake, no problems, all cool.

Kim Wilson's still got it! He looks and sounds better than ever. And the rest of the band did a great job backing him up. They sounded really tight. I loved the music! Please Indian Ranch, bring them back next year!

    Fabulous Thunderbirds

by Whispeesgiro on 9/21/11Indian Ranch - Webster

Amazing! Bluesy, rockin' blues. Who knew you could get that kind of sound out of a harmonica. Definitely worth seeing.

    Great Show

by tbirdflier on 9/19/11Indian Ranch - Webster

Kim Wilson and The Fabulous Thunderbirds put on an amazing concert at Indian Ranch in Webster, MA. The Delta Generators opened up the show and they were impressive, they put out a big sound for a small band and I can see why they would be a good choice to open for Kim Wilson and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Kim Wilson does all the vocals and when he was not singing, he was blowing everyone away with his tremendous harp playing. Being a blues harp player myself, I really enjoyed hearing one of my favorite harpists live. I'd highly recommend seeing these guys if you get the opportunity.

The band was great.... not bad for "Old Guys" :) I would definitely go again. Loved the outdoor venue.
