TIM RICE and ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's Tony Award®-winning musical returns at last!
Eva Perón used her beauty and charisma to rise meteorically from the slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as First Lady. Adored by her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most powerful women in the world — while her greed, outsized ambition and fragile health made her one of the most tragic. EVITA tells Eva's passionate and unforgettable true story, and features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" and "High Flying, Adored." Don't miss the stunning new production of EVITA, directed by MICHAEL GRANDAGE and choreographed by ROB ASHFORD, that Channel 4 New York calls “THE HOTTEST TICKET IN TOWN!”

Very well done! My wife and daughter were enthralled.
The venue was wonderful. I can't wait to go back there. We really enjoyed the production. The cast was wonderful!
Sound was so loud that it distorted voices at times.
Saw the Washington DC version of Evita many years ago. The Feb 13th version was a great performance.
Better the second time around! The cast gave it their all on closing night!
Great perfomamce of Evita!! All of the cast did a great job. Che in particular was outstanding!! This was my third time to see this show and he is by far the best Che yet! Even better than the national touring comapny Che! The lady playing Evita was good, voice could have been a little more powerful for the role. The Casa Manana venue is always a great place to see a show!!
This was one of the worst productions I have seen in years The vocals were screamed at the audience and the dancing felt like a run through at best Such an amazing story and music but performed so poorly Drove three hours to see it and we left at intermission
The cast was great. Well staged and performance was awesome. The one thing that stood out the most, and this we talked about with other viewers.... the sound was really loud at some points in the acts..especially when certain songs were belted out. The Lead singer who played Eva Peron was good. Her voice can be shrilling on some songs though... I don't believe her vocals were strong enough to handle some of the ranges. Other than that, the rest of the leads and casts were great!
Everything was top notch. The performers were enthusiastic, professional. The music was diverse. Everyone should see this!
I see a play about once every year or two. Inevitably at some point I am bored. Plays are just not my thing. I was so engrossed in this play. The story line and performances were outstanding. No boredom in this play. It really flew by and left me wanting more.
This production was really outstanding. Lauren Kennedy was an excellent Eva. Kevin Gray was overwhelming with his interpretation of Che. Definitely a "would go again."
excellent - however disappointed about the lobby of the casa manana - the buckets in the lobby to catch the leaks in the roof is a real turn-off - hope it can be rectified soon good seats close to the stage contributed to our enjoyment che was portrayed outstandingly evita - ok juan peron did a good job overall rating - excellent entertainment
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Awesome play...awesome cast...awesome venue. Casa Manana offers the most intimate setting to see one of the best musicals ever with a tremendous cast and ensemble. Lauren Kennedy and Kevin Gray were wonderful as Evita and Che, but Ashley Arnold rocked with "Another Suitcase in Another Hall"!!
I love this show and music, if only I could have heard it. I feel the sound system was a little weak for this type of show. Orchestra was a little heavy as well. If I had not seen the movie, 5 times, I would have had trouble following the show,
Evita at the Casa Manana was excellent. The acting, staging, and singing were all great. Two complaints, however; as this was our first time at C.M. Better signage is needed out from to let you know you're at the C.M. One would think you're definitely at the Will Rogers Auditorium only. The parking lot needs signs that this is the Casa Manana too. Secondly, we were in Section 1, Row G (seven rows from the stage). The acoustics were very poor. It was quite ifficult to understand the words of the songs. The couple behind us left at intermission to sit in the far back ceter of the C.M.due to the acoustics. This is a problem that shouldn't be. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the musical. Great job!
I saw Evita in London. The choreography and execution were much better at Casa Manana. I thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism of the actors.
It was worth the drive to Ft. Worth to see and hear it. I never fidgeted once and wanted to go again the very next day. All four of us raved to each other (and sang) all the way back to Dallas. Thank you, Casa Manana!!
While an overall good production, I found the two leads a little of the mark. When the music swelled, instead of increasing the volume of their voices -along with maintaining good quality - they both had a tendacy to yell. Also, the Che role calls for some anger - just not unabated anger. I would like to have seen a little more sassy charisma on his part.
I have seen Evita a dozen times over the past 30 years and this was as good or better than any I have seen in London or New York. Lauren Kennedy was fantastic and every bit as good as Elaine Paige. Kevin Gray started the role of Che without as much bravado as I expected but quickly gained strength and put in a solid performance. Two Fort Worth natives added local color to the cast with Greg Dulcie as Peron and Ashley Arnold performing a magnificent "Suitcase"!! Go see it anywhere any time.
I did not realize this wasn't a Broadway touring production so the set was not what I expected. However, the cast did a good job of moving things around quickly and the show ran very smooth. The actress who plays Evita has an amazing voice and for most of the show I enjoyed her performance. A few times she seemed to be reaching to hit high(er) notes and that was disappointing. The roles of Che and Juan were performed by wonder singers. And Magaldi was also very good.
