Evita (NY) Tickets

I was amazed by the ensemble the performance from the 3 main characters was beautiful. The movie on the cinema was good but to see live was beautiful with supporting actors as well as memorable music its a show you will not forget.

From the set design to the cast of Evita was truely represented by the most talented people on Earth. Ricky Martin's performace was phenomenal and with his added talent and strength lead the cast to stardom. The musical numbers were crafted to perfection and made watching them thrilling.

Evita was amazing!!! Ricky Martin as Che was electrifying. He was cool, mysterious and so sneaky at times. He had me hanging on to every word. His character gave us the back story of Evita and her real intentions. Evita was such a complicated character. First I liked her then i hated her and i felt so sorry for her in the end. I loved the choreography and the moving scenography. I thought they were very effective in giving us a sense of being in Argentina. The tango was hot!

Rodgers was a poor choice for the lead, her voice was almost chip-monky or Mickey Mousey.

I loved the show and i think Ricky Martin did a fanatic job in it.

Good story telling, educational and fun, great performers. I only wish the tango choreography and dance presentation would be more captivating - I found dancing a bit neglected in this performance.

Great Show !!! Go see Evita!!!! One of the great musicals on Broadway!!

I was very disappointed with the show... It felt rushed... The play started at 8:07 PM and I was on the streets of Times Square by 10:05 PM! The story all though is a classic was still hard to follow and if you had no knowledge of Evita you wouldn't know what was going on. The theater was 130 degrees and the seats were terribly uncomfortable. This was one of the worse broadway experience I have ever had!

It was just a xmas present for my wife and we especially flew from Paris to attempt to this show, arriving thursday and departing friday!, but the great performers and the Marquis welcome made it turn into an unforgettable event. Thanks to all of you. I personnally appreciated Ricky character , Evita's voice was sometimes amazing but as an actress she was top.

The show was amazing. Staging, ligting, sound, performances, musicians and actors were all over the top brilliant. Truly worth seeing. It is too bad that the female role had a voice on some of the high notes like Minnie Mouse with a cold. Her higher ranges need to be worked on. We resorted to covering our ears to offset the nasally sound and screaching... others were making comments througout the performance. You can view if first hand on the shows web site. Even with the screaching, we had an over the top experience... as we had expected.

Excellent. Ricky Martin was awesome. Was there for the last show and it was amazing. Ricky couldn't even begin his part as he opened, with the crowd giving him applause and going crazy.

I could not believe that Christina DeCicco was the alternate because she was absolutely brilliant. She is definitely a stand-alone actress and I cannot wait to see what she does next!!! Her Evita was so sassy and sexy as well as driven and intimidating. She did no wrong and as much as I love the wonderful Elena Roger, Ms. DeCicco was the prize of the show! Definitely nothing missed! Mr. Michael Cerveris was so impressive, his dancing and ardor as Perón was incomparable. He was so comfortable and he really melted into his role... I found myself applauding his speeches and realizing how caught up into his words I was really getting! It was such an honor to see him. And lastly, Mr. Ricky Martin's Che was such a show-stealer.. wow. He added great humor and a differing public view to keep the audience in check with the story while still maintaining our own opinions of Evita. He reminded us of how much the public can be swayed and took us away with his ravishing voice. Ricky Martin was incredible and I will be sad if he leaves the Broadway scene! Overall, Evita was an A++++, 5 stars, everything. Could not ask for better talent, a better show, better set design, music, anything! The epitome of Broadway at its finest and it is so sad to see it leave.

If you missed Evita on Broadway I am crying for you! This show was Phenominal! Elena Roger is a great talent and Broadway won't shine nearly as bright without her and this amazing cast!

We attended the Evita performance last Tuesday night and left at the interval. The lead female singer was very poor. She screeched her way through the performance and it was so bad we just had to leave. It was a pity because the other performers were amazing. I just hope I get to see another production of this show again sometime

A great performance by all. Our experience was enhanced by our middle level tickets being upgraded. we moved 10 rows closer to Ricky Martin et al on stage. Considering we had travelled from Asia, was most impresse

The show itself was very good. However, the usher was very rude when my friend and I showed up a little bit late and he had to escort us to our seats. The theatre is very nice because the view from the side seats were great. We did not have to buy the expensive seats in the middle of the orchestra area.

Extraordinary!!!! Top performance of Ricky Martin and the argentinean Elena Rogers is also great! 10 out of 10!!!!
